Rnd 5: Eagles v Port @ Maughen Thiem Hyundai Oval (Sat 27/4)

Postby Big Phil » Sun Apr 21, 2013 9:59 pm

The Eagles had a fantastic Friday night win over the Redlegs last week, bolstered by a few handy AFL listed players, while the Magpies had a week off and will be fresh after their first up win of the year the week before over Glenelg...

These 2 western suburbs rivals have had some interesting battles in recent seasons, including the thriller at this venue last season. You would have to say the home side will start as favourites.

Eagles by 10 goals plus
With the Crows on TV Saturday arvo and the Power at home Saturday night could this be the smallest crowd of the season?

Regardless of those factors do you really think Port had a chance this week?

Not really, but a slight upset wouldn't have surprised.

Not with the "ins" they have recently had though.

Port did beat a crows/power filled Bays line-up 2 weeks ago, Lynch,Lyons,Logan, mckernan, hitchcock. So cant rule them out, certainly expecting to win but not as easily as some may suggest.

Thanks for the questions.

If you have a Power Season Ticket (ie outside of AAMI Staium Members) show the ticket to the SANFL ticket booth
and get a free ticket to get into Woodville

If you have a single ticket to the Power v West Coast same applies, as does if you are a AFL member to AAMI Stadium.

Now if you are in the AAMI Stadium Members either as Premium (6) or Power Essential (4) you get free entry to a
certain number of SANFL games of which this can be one.

Any kids are free to SANFL anyway.

All up whatever ticket you have for AAMI on Saturday Night you get free entry to Woodville Saturday Afternoon.

I think that covers it.

Eagles Vs Port always good value anytime.... but it so amusing to see an Eagle coaching Port though, I'd just never ever even considered it :o

So once again those who pay the most, ie. Premium and Power essential MEMBERS (of which I have both) get screwed.

Included SANFL games aren't free, we pay for them as part of our Members package. As far as I'm concerned, while everyone else gets in for nothing, this game costs me $14. Because once my 6 allocated games are gone, they're gone.
