Yeh but, if he's introduced everyone else to date as a "legend" he can't suddenly have someone on there and not mention he's a legend. It's like that Samaranch bloke, if he didn't say it was the best Olympic games ever, then they must have been some shithouse games.

He never said that after Sydney. Because there's no way he could.

Interesting opinion there Beenreal. At the risk of getting off topic I'll say firstly; yes, he did say they were the best. Secondly, why'd you think they were so bad? Though going on some of your other posts I'd hazard a guess it was because the Power didn't participate?

Maybe because 80% of IOC revenue goes to the SANFL?

It's common knowledge. :D

Oh I wasn't hurt, quite the opposite, its a great and fun talking point.
It just reiterated to me how much of a knob he is.
Wouldn't have been so bad if he gave me a week of his pay cheque in commission as I kept him in a job that week on the radio and in the paper. :)

This is how posts can be misinterpreted. I know how great Sydney 2000 was, I was there. I meant AFTER Sydney came Athens, which was a fiasco. Hence, no way could he say they were the best.

In fact, Sydney set the standard for Olympic presentations past, present and future! Even without Port Adelaide being involved.
