Might have been a one-off as the MWFL starts earlier than GFFL & EEFL. Should see thise clearances work their way back sometime this week.

Dead set?? What weekend?

Later on in the month. Looks like Bluesboy has got the date. I guess he is doing an Akermanis and doing the country footy scene across Australia, cause I see he is doing a sportsman night at Port Wakefield on the 24th.

Weird thing is the Bombers are at Poochera that day, unless they've swapped home games with the Tigers that wear the wrong colours!
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Any clearances coming out of Lincoln since they don't have trials or season opener this weekend? Heard tasmans aren't allowing a young lad to play back at his old club for the weekend, anything to do with ine of their key forwards last year??

check sporting pulse Tasmans cleared a couple of boys who play senior footy last weekend
up country. But it is a concern as quite often if a player gets injured elsewhere then its the usually
the major club who foots the bill for ongoing medical costs to get the player back on the track

Yeah we(my work) had an apprentice that went home for the weekend and played for Central Eyre in the mid west league and hurt his ankle. Bit of a pain but you cant really stop them...

Ramblers def Yeelana. HParker handy up forward, Shirley busy and probably near b.o.g, couldnt even tell if Keatley played.

Eyre United def Lock. Mallee Miller match winner with 5 goals

Tumby def Cougars. Too many winners for Tumby, Curtis was very good up forward, for Cougars Hazlegrove and Burton(Jack(recruit)) were very handy.

Info has been passed to me, but i believe it to be quite accurate.

I went to Cummins and watched Ramblers v Yeelanna.
the Eagles are an exceptionaly quick side and they troubled the Magpies early with their pace
forcing Ramblers into costly turnovers they led at half time the third quarter Ramblers held possesion
and kicked to a team mate, made use of the breeze and hit the front.
Hard last quarter with Yeelanna missing several shots at goal Ramblers held on to win by 4 pts.
BOG Jack Haarsma in and under hard at it for a little frame with good delivery,Tysan Mickan in his first game
in 18months impressed.Keats will take a few games to adjust to coaching and the style of GF footy, Shirleys disposal
needs to improve. Parker obviously has hamstring problems and Ramblers need to find a key forward.
Despite the loss the Eagles are going to be hard to beat during the year .
Congratulations to the Cummins Community on their new facilities.

some thoughts, tumby were very good early kicking 7 to 1 with the wind and had the game in control at half time. we had a very good 3rd quart but fell short on the back of our awful first quart. tumby are always very good good at clearances and they smashed us in this area. it must be said we have some work to do in that area and maybe we are a little thin around the edges at this stage. hazelgrove nearly won it of his own boot and burton will be great for us. I think our lesser players let us down badly but it's only round 1. hyphen back against the old foe this week will help.
