Perhaps they should have left them up there till everyone has had the bye once, then bring them down??

Ah well, can't win them all and I guess at this sort of level it is more about getting blokes a kick and a catch each week over anything else.

Is the GG v TTG score right? Gullies did well to turn it around and with only 19 players named..

They had more than 19 players on game day. As I said earlier TTG are a definite chance at a flag in this comp, I understand that they got belted round 1 and 2 in Div 6 but IMO they should have stayed up, clubs have struggled for years getting belted but played on, this side won a flag only 4 games ago in div 7, not getting any praise from me for turning around the poor start.

Their C-Grade lost the GF in D7.

D-Grade were premiers in D7R.

Not sour grapes, but why didn't the league put TTG into C1?? Isn't the C1 comp for ALL div 1 C grade sides??

My mistake should have checked that was only going on what I had heard, either way still played off in a GF.

They'll go real well in this Div, some very good players (for this standard) played in their side yesterday.

a great start to the season by ovies
i know its only the ressies but they were just about out,got belted week in week out and kept on trying to build
did not ask to go down for easier games and did not worry about of clubs trying to buy their lease out from under them
two good solid wins,a full team and earning respect back
well done to scooter and the guys
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Kind of not irrelevant really, if the guys who played Saturday didn't play in the first two rounds the question he is asking is why not? No one can check because the details are gone. If all of a sudden guys come out of the wood works to play in an "easier" competition then it's a valid question IMO. I have no idea who played weeks earlier, the side we played will be good in this comp, but would struggle in higher grades I would think. I just don't personally like the way it has been handled, but its done and they are good but can be beaten, Div 8 is a decent comp with many tough sides.

We have you guys this week and are expecting a good solid hit out. In my nearly 300 games Ovingham is a side I have never played, I'm away this week so I will have to wait till the return match! You got good numbers have you?

Lol, well you'd expect an 'A' grade side to easily account for 'D' grade sides.
