BUT ...... if you have the ball and deny the opposition posession EVERYTHING goes out the window.
I believe Norwood will have more posession AND use it better.
Most stats after a game are close but the team who USES the ball better wins.

Think they should've kept Fitzgerald. Especially with Grocke out.
My thoughts on Norwood oval due to its size you can kick over the CHF forward position !!
And before I get attacked by Norwood fans not 100 % sureEagles will get the ball first to test my theory

Back in the old days of players keeping their positions and forward playing football .. These days with switches and the press, the forward movement doesn't always begin in the middle of the ground.
On a different note, I can't recall Bernie Vince ever playing in a losing game against Norwood - Wonder if he has?

Had a brilliant season a 4 or 5 years back but has been treading water for a couple of seasons now.
On form he has been very lucky to get a game for awhile now, finally the gold pass has ran out.
The Eagles will see a fair bit of him this season IMO

So he is not in your best 22 then?
Lucky he is not on the Power list or he would be transferred ASAP

Surprised Port didn't list Brett Ebert as a longer term injury and keep Mitchell upgraded. Can't see Ebert playing any AFL this year if Port continue as they are and Mitchell is very handy? Also cannot see Salter ever wearing the Power colours again.
Apparently Brett Ebert's iinjury will only see him sidelined for a further 5 weeks. To be placed on the long term injury list and upgrade a
rookie, the injury needs to be listed as 8 weeks, minimum...
It is bad luck for the Power and a massive gain for the Eagles...
Still surprising and even more so that Port don't bullshit and make it a longer "out" period. They bullshit about everything else?
