Nuri playing Waikerie at Waikerie. All grades except the u13s for the annual chemmart cup. With a bit of cash for the winner I imagine both clubs will be keen to win. Usually a good hit out before both clubs first games.

How can u tell that our league and the riverland league are the only two that start late,
Lucky really, or daysof would be 100% right instead of 85%.

South beat Tanunda by about 80 today, very hard to judge the performance as both sides were missing a few.
Now thats over its on to the real stuff, hopefully a surprise inclusion for the Lions next week

Congratulations to the Nuri following for coming down to Waikerie for todays trials. Good hit outs for all the teams, played in great spirits and a fantastic crowd to boot. Always a tough gig travelling in a trial, and i would say Waikerie have improved considerably since last year. Nuri cop a bit on this forum but from what i saw today they are a credit to your league and are definitley on the way up.

I ventured out and watched GC and Loxton. Was that score kept? We reckon GC got up by 6-7 goals.

South will give Freeling a touch up. 10+ goals.
Ango and Barossa to be a lot closer than tipsters think.
Not saying Ango will challenge for the flag, just will be very competitive.
Toss a coin for the last 2 games.... Kapunda and Willaston maybe....

Can't believe some are tipping against Tanunda this week.
Lost a couple of good ones but still strong juniors coming through.

My tips

South to belt Freeling by 10+ goals
Barossa to win but not by as much as some say-young Hermann doing great job from what I hear at the Clubhouse-Barossa by 5 goals and be well deserved early flag favourites ( hurt me to say )
Kap v Nuri game of the round and I think Nuri may just win by less than 3 goals
Tan will win against the Donnies by about 5 goals

Top four end of minor round
Barossa, Tanunda, South, Nuriootpa

Schluter Jack Juniper-Nuriootpa

Teagle Goalkicking - Rhys Stanley-Gawler Central

Heard similar Days, very good win if so.
South beat Freeling by about 6 goals, not a great performance but were very undermanned this week.
Freeling looked good in patches, very pacy side

Solid team performance by Angaston today.
Griffith, O'brien, Bain and Harvey outstanding in the midfield.
Was surprisingly subdued after such a big win.

That was a big win Stewie, Last years premiers over the spooners.
Huge pick up to have Harvey back at Angaston for the year and O'$brian has fitted in well.
