Even of the Dogs go down this weekend, it wont be curtains for them in terms of finals appearances, you would think?

Yes I believe there was BP, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. All I was trying to establish actually was exactly when Central did start the season 0-3. I couldn't imagine it had been in quite a while.

Fair enough...

It was 1990, not 1987, as incorrectly reported previously...

I hate it when the media it get it wrong ;)

I think EVERY team just about had an 'imploding' thread last year, Phil. Maybe not Norwood, though...

Apart from our winless first season in 1964 the most consecutive losses to start the season was 5 in 1967 followed by 3 in 1990 and the 3rd worst was 2 in each of 1971, 1981 & 1989.
The most consecutive losses during a season was 13 in 1966 followed in descending order by losing streaks of 10 in 1970 and 8 in 1965, 1969, 1987 & 1991.

This year's team isn't as bad as I thought, it has a long way to go to match the depths of these previous teams. In terms of wins for the season the 1964 team has the dubious record of 0 wins followed by the 4 wins from the 1966, 1968 & 1969 teams.

Win this week boys and these records remain untouched. 8) :D

No problems BP but mainly my thoughts were with the Young Dogs Side who were kept up after their bedtime.
