NFP, I really, really hope that you have the permission of the photographer to use this picture, can you not see that the photo is the property of someone and that permission must be secured before re-use???

If not I would think you had better delete it quick smart.

Cheers,

I didn't copy or download the image, I just copied the webpage address of the photo. If the photographer (whom I know as a fellow Norwood supporter) didn't want people to view his images, why would he have them on a public webpage?
The image has the photographer's watermark on it so any illegal downloading or reproducing would be easy to identify.

Although Norwood are strong, they looked very beatable at times during this match.

Central's young side looks very competitive and should get better as the season rolls on, and keep getting better for some years to come.

It would be interesting to know how many of Aish's 1.5 million kicks went forward.

Got to disagree, I thought it was one of the poorer games of SANFL I've ever seen, way too many skill errors from both sides for it to be exciting IMHO.

From your pov, I can understand that.

I see Norwood play Centrals @ Elizabeth again in June and later in the year @ Norwood...... both during the day.
Wonder if they will allow night games @ Norwood any time soon ? Did the Dogs supporters let off flares last Saturday night or do they only do that @ Norwood ?
Maybe time to try a Friday night again @ Norwood as the ratbag, flare lighting, goalpost climbing element seems to have disappeared from Centras of late ...... or am I mistaken ?

These weren't the incidents that saw N v CD games canned at the Parade.

x4 would love to see the Dogs play Friday Nights at the Parade again.

Unfortunatly i dont see it happening. The Sunday games at the Parade between these two sides have been very well attended and Norwood already have the North, Sturt, Port, Glenelg as decent attracting games.

From the SANFL point of view i think they will look at it as very little reward for big risk. Not a good combination.

Hate each other's guts as clubs but certainly united on this subject.
Well done Centrals for orginizing that..... can we borrow the sign for next week ?

We, all clubs, should organise a sign of our own and display at all games one at each end near the goals so the ABC get clear shots every time a goal is scored

What did Chris Davies say about the sign??? tell him to piss off, is he a stooge of the AFL or the SANFL General Manager ??

Apart from the fact that I know and like Davies you may want to re-think criticism of him here. I saw him yesterday at the Showdown and he was amazed at how good the sign looked !! I think the on ground was the problem not the message.

Seriously what difference does that make if it is on the ground or not - people could read it from anywhere they were facing it??? Boody hell the SANFL can pedantic!

Probably the SANFL wouldn't want it on the ground as it would look like they sanctioned it - which does not look good politically.

I don't disagree with your point but it's a bit late for worrying about Politics! The whole AFL Reserves , AO move and licence debates are all political!

Of course it is, but that banner could be deemed an insult by those at AFL House and could further harm any future negotiations between the two parties.

Ture. Any excuse to screw SA again however but surely the AFL know that it is the Reserves Issues and not any other "deals" that we are principally not happy about??? Having said that, apart from the display of that banner, two coaches going out publically objecting to the Reserves issue, nort much else publically from anybody. Our President however in his lunch speek on Satuday tipped piles of shit on the PAFC as well as publically stating our club is formally against AFL Reserves in our comp full stop (League or Reserves Grades). I suspect as you pointed out, it is because the SANFL is currently in those "delicate" talks re the AFL Licence buy out issue given that recently Whicker and co. and the Commission told the 8 Club League Directors recently to pull their heads in re leaks from the SANFL Board Tables etc.

I do wonder at times which side the SANFL is actually on?

I think it would be foolish of anyone to think the SANFL is not on the side of SANFL footy. Compare the size of the 'opposition' and you can see why some pandering has to be done.
