Id like to know how the media get these private texts, isnt it illegal to hack into accounts?
I still dont think they have a lot of hard evidence, just a bit of heresay and some texts.
Finey on SEN went off tonight, called ASADA a bunch of glorified piss collectors and then he slammed Demetriou

I would think they have come from dank himself. From what i've heard and seen ASADA are pretty harsh, look at the VFL player they banned. Imported a supplement which on it's ingredients list contained no banned substance. Customs stopped it and found to contain steroids, which wasn't suppose to be in there. And they still banned him. A player that has imported a supplement that is suppose to be a legal supplements gets banned even though he didn't even end up receiving it as it was stopped by customs. The thing that annoys me the most is a it's the players responsibility to know what is going into their body. Now say Essendon are found guilty of using a banned substance, but what the players where told they where getting is completely different to what they where given. You have all these scientist and doctors now, how is a player suppose to challenge them? before a player takes anything they have to go and get their own tests done? The one good thing from this I dont think we will see Dank in AFL football again.

It's not good injecting anything unless its the last resort for medical reasons. Not a good image for the game.

I dont have an issue with injections or IV if the drug is legal
Didnt have an issue with the Lions using saline drips.

Myself having a lot to do with supplements (not just using but also a lot of research into ingredients) I would of clearly told them were to go if they asked me to inject. but being a 18 year old first not having much to with them and basically doing everything you can to make sure you play afl footy you can see how easy some are misguided. Not only that but you also have very dodgy companies that putting ingredients into their products without declaring them. The first thing the afl should do is teach to these young kids that you should never ever have to inject anything unless it's for a medical condition.

Fair enough. I just don't agree with it. Keep in mind one of my best ever games of footy I played I drank 20 beers the night before and my miss' had access to banana bags with her career. 2 of them before and I ran out the game in sensational fashion....

Thing is, using injections is ILLEGAL since the lions were doing what you just said. Not long after the the rules changed in AFL.

Unfortunately the Essendon hierarchy will be in a lot of strife by the end of the year is my guess

I thought the use of injections and drips was only illegal during games? There was an incident just before the saline drip thing where a WB player I think it was had an injection out on the ground during the game, and the resulting shitstorm in the media put a lot of heat on the AFL. A few week later the Brisbane saline drips at half time thing came to light and the AFL moved in to put an end to it all. About 2002/03 if my memory is correct

I dont think you can get text from phone hacking in the sense that the media has recently been involved with. I think you would either have to have the phone or other the most likely these texts were siezed as part of the investigation or leaked. Something along the lines like that.

Just on the texts, they dont prove anything beyond reasonable doubt. That could be talking about the powerade or perhaps Goodwin was asking Dank to bring some of the good porn in again ;) As I said could be anything.
