hopefully minimum 5 or maybe 6, but then we could all be real negative and instead of trying to bolster something good some negative publicity might be the go...

There are some people trying to make it happen but others trying to kill it.

Work out who is trying to help, a real shame for the sake of a lot of guys who may not get a game for their club in the B grade or 17's that some are trying to kill it.

We should look at ways of making it happen rather than reasons why it should not.

Some of you people are far too negative..

If the HFL put the effort in from the get go this comp wouldn't be on a knifes edge. Because of their negligence it's the clubs involved that suffer. Finally when it looks like its going to fold crisis meetings are called. How often does this happen... regularly. I was told a couple of clubs were talking with neighbouring leagues as well as amalgamating with an amateur league club (at C Grade level) so this forced the HFL to react. Pathetic really.

Very heartening to read of so much support for C Grade. Keep it coming! Despite denials from the 'powers-that-be', this site does not go un-noticed and provides credible data when it counts. The respect for this comp is much-appreciated. After all, it's all about keeping players playing footy. :D :D :D :D

PS:- Have PM'd all who have PM'd me with details.

Fair to say after watching the Loby vs Ironbank game, the number 5 for Ironbank in the long sleave top would be the biggest flog in the HFL. Ladhams should gag him up cause he is an embaressement.

Well I suggest you get out there and play on him. He seems to rack up the biggest FORWARD scalps week in week out in the HFL and obviously, just with his trash talk?

Not to mention he's one of the best club men going around in the HFL. Secretary and coach of our u17s. He has a bit to say on the field but most of the time it's pretty humourous and taken in jest and he backs it up with his performances. This is just a pathetic post from a weak bloke hiding behind computer screen who can't spell.

Fair to say the only "embaressement" is your grammar, Chop, and that until you know the bloke, I'd take your opinion and shove it back up your "sleave" until it's asked for.

Lobey are a top 3 side. With what they recruited there is no doubt. They where terrific against ironbank last week in the first half so today over onkas is no surprise. Saw barker beat the bankers today 25 goals to 19 in what was a great game. Is hard to gauge the bankers who are lplaying great brand of footy. In theory are a good chance against uri but time will tell. Great comp it is at the moment.

The competition is looking great. I will say that lobethals team has not much different to last year Trevor Baust is defiantly a great inclusion but looking at the players named 90 percent would be locals, wonder how many points they are playing each week.

Our Tiger side is fairly young' mostly early 20's, played with purpose and a game plan that had Onkas guessing all day, what about when the full back played on from the goal square, Onkas had completely lost the plot.

I'm a bit disappointed in the Final Siren, why profile a bloke like Cheetham from Mt Barker who is obviously only there to fill his wallet. I don't want to know about overpaid mercenaries in the HFL, I'd rather here about the talented locals who have been around for years and give back to their clubs. Cheetham will be gone in another year or two and no one really cares how much he loves his fellow mercenary mate Obashak.

The Final Siren should have had a big piece on a gentleman of the game, the late great Pete Murphy.
