3 wins in a row vs the doggies.
The two sides are going in different directions

Great First up win for the year to win out Elizabeth tonight by 41 pts the Roosters look very good when we got are running game going in that second Qtr we dominated the center square then after half time we play in good patches but let the Dogs get easy goals from sloppy play but over all a very good win and positive signs for the Roosters this year. :D :D :D

North looked good, and fit. They ran the game out well, and the score reflected the game. Thought the norf turnout was good and a great night to watch footy.

For centrals there is an injection of pace and some fine talent. Missed the grunt of the Gowans, and leadership particularly when Symes went off, was noticeable.

Good win in the end considering:
- We played a team who had blown out their cobwebs last week and over the past decade plus have dominated us - starting to finally not be intimidated by the Dogs! 3 in row for the "chooks"
- Down to 2 on the bench with our Capt off very early - broken jaw and having an operation tomorrow - hopefully not too bad and he can make a quick recovery.
- Quite a few "new" players into the line-up but we did show some good signs in patches but we still need to do it for longer periods over 4 quarters. Too many times after we established a good lead we slackened and tried to be too cute!
- AFL selection dramas with guess who - the selfish c#*ts at Port! Lets see what happens when it is announced another player possibly "moved" to the Magpies via the back door!

A couple of negatives re tonight and nothing to do with the game:

- We got to the Oval just before halftime of the Ressies and none of the "security controlled car parks were open - WTF? Had to park on the street. They eventually opened them!
- Where were the people handing out tickets etc.prizes for the $4K cash?
- Entered via the Goodman Road "Outer Gates" but when the masses tried to leave through the same gate some wanker had locked the gates so everyone had to trudge back to the South West pocket and double back to get out! I suspect it was those SANFL Staff who control the Gates - how dumb are they!

Positives off field:
Centurion / UK Fan hosting us for some pre-match drinks and banter and good to catch up with WHUFC also .
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Good first up win for the Cocks, need to not take the foot off the pedal though, should have won by more but if you'd asked me before the game, would have been very happy with a 7 goal win

Mate if that is part of your negative, you must live a happy life. Possibly the club thought providing the FREE secure parking in excess of 1 hour prior to the game was excessive.

Centrals co captn Brad Symes was off late into the second qtr. I cant recall him coming off but he did not play the last half.

On the upside Phil, if Norwood fans weren't trolling you you'd have to talk about the football. :D

Osullivan quiet. Westhoff apparently played in the seconds. Boyd did ok, but Seb Guilhaus is some raw talent and can win the tap so Boyd will need to make the most of that. He also needs to run past Seb whenever he wins the ball because the big lad cant kick that well but he goes hard at it. We should get some value out of him.

Yep - 4 kicks, 3 handballs, 1 mark, 1 free against. All in the first half.

What is the actual point of your response? If you are offering free car parking for a SANFL game then have it open at least at the start of the reserves or state a time when it is open from! How hard is it to open gates which clearly is an issue at Elizabeth given my other complaint re the Oval Gates to exit at the end of the game? Great innovation free "security" parking but poorly managed!

There is one positive. At least we cant be accused of ruining the competition because we are too good any more.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.
