I know Season 2013 has yet to begin, but who do you guys think are the best and most important players in each position in Div 1?

How do you think Daniel Thomas will fair this year froffies?
Will his knee hold up to the rigors of Div 1 footy?
Ps who do you think is the better footballer? Ricky Thomas or Daniel Thomas?

I don't think Daniel is playing this year as he doesn't think his knee will be able to handle it in div 1. However, his older (and less talented brother) will be trying to make the skatepark wing his own this year.

I wonder how many times he kicked the first goal of the game in his senior debut?

For me:
Maks Pakula in the ruck.
Steven Evans, like you said, anywhere.
Drew Litster up forward. He's been a class act for so long, and I think it will be a good tussle between him, Sam Phillipou and Eric Kells (TTG) for the Leading Goalkicker this year.
Ty Potticary is highly underrated too.

The good thing about Salisbury North's midfield and flanks is that while there's no superstars there, they work really well as a combo.

There's been alot of talk about Salisbury north, but the way Port district belted Brighton, puts the way salisbury north beat them shows salisbury north aren't as good as been touted

With my original question, I was merely asking who all you guys thought were the most important players in any given position in Div 1. This was intended to include players from all the clubs, not just from the club that I support. I even mentioned 3 from different clubs.

In addition to those mentioned, how could I forget Johnny Boxer?

Based on what I saw last season, he tore Salisbury North a new arsehole, especially at L.J. Lewis Oval.

Does anyone know if there are any rules/procedures in place in regards to the C/D grade sides fielded this week by the Div 1/2 clubs? Or is it open slather and anyone from higher up can play in the lower grades this weekend...?

Refer the R & R on the league website should answer all of your questions.

No disrespect but I wish people would read the R & R it answers 95% of the questions asked on here and it is avaliable on line now.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

A player who played in a Division 3 or below match in the first minor round of matches of The League’s season (with the exception of Under 18 Divisions) shall not play in Divisions 1, 1 Reserves, 2 or 2 Reserves in the following week’s first minor round of matches of these Divisions.

I feel better having done my own research and will in future check the rules before asking a question of my esteemed colleagues on sa footy
