LOL, make sure you keep all your Magpie paraphernalia ... sadly it will be gone forever at the end of the year and replaced by the teal twin.

That is what Port wanted, isn't it?

Look, you're a good bloke Booney, you sometimes just keep shit company :D

The fact that Beenreal, despite many attempts to encourage him to do so, has been unwilling to back up his blatant lie that '80% of all PAFC revenue goes straight to the SANFL' proves that everything he says should be disregarded as pure sophistry and cant.

To put it politely.

i don't see how a crows reserve side is going to work. it pretty much means that they will have to completely wipe a club out. With port I would still like to see the magpies and prision bar gurensy kept. If this or doesn't go ahead I would still love to see a sanfl game before both the crows and power games each week, even if it wasn't the magpies playing before power it would still be good to see.

Macca explained it so eloquently earlier in the Thread I couldn't improve on it. If you can't be bothered looking it up, not my issue Topsy.

I will certainly never attend a 'curtain raiser' if the bloody things come back.

the SANFL isn't here to entertain middle aged women who like to gossip about player's mullets at work

so your saying if the eagles where playing before the Brisbane against port or crows you wouldn't want to see them play?

No chance curtain raisers will be back, tried and failed last year unless they have an internal trial their not going to find any willing SANFL opponents.

Maybe a Power vs GWS game could be a curtain raiser to a Norwood vs Port game at the parade!

one thing we can be sure of is centrals not being able to play a night curtain raiser.

I thought all that was in the past.
Norwood is playing the Dogs in a night game in a few weeks, not sure if the ban from them playing at the Parade at night is over yet.
Their crowd would be much better behaved than some of the Port ferals that were there Thursday night, some of them were a disgrace to the club

There's a broad statement. I saw not one incident, either on the Hill or at Coopers Corner.

This is not a Centrals Night Game post, but once and for all there is no problem with Norwood - Centrals games, Night or Day, Elizabeth or the Parade, but if you want tough uncompromising footy then these are the games of the season! so be there.
Get It, Got It, GOOD.

It's the opposite to a broad statement. It was quite specific.

Why would he go, the only time I'd even consider seeing North V the Cows or Powder Puffs in a curtain raiser would be if they were playing Essendon or if the game was included as part of my North membership, buggered if I am going to pay AFL prices to watch my team play!
