Well the player who has organised the Footy Trips for the last few years has moved to Alice Springs so the position is open at the moment ;)

Expect 2 Port Districts clearances to be lodged tomorrow after the clearance forms were signed this weekend. 1 of which is Beeching

And the other his B grade sidekick, not worth the apparent coin getting for a Div 2 fringe player.
Amateur Footy has gone to the dogs.

Hahah LMA if a B grader want to go to the country to play B grade and then watch his mate play A's well thats his decision, no loss to the club.

Heard they had signed up one bloke months ago and then came up with some rubbish story about not having enough points to have him only to use his points allocation to get Beeching's mate so they could get Beeching!

Good signs for Port District, beating Brighton by more than 20 goals on the weekend. I thought it was going to be a close game tbh, but PDFC looked very good. Admittedly, Brighton were woeful, and looked worse than D5 standard.
District's fielded a fairly young side and looked pretty good, and still have a few to come into the side I think. McDowell was clearly best on from what I saw, with Smitham also having a good game, but would be hoping to convert more chances in front of goal. Catterall kicked a few, while Thomas and Westhoff gave first use in the middle. I was surprised to see Clay and Rose playing down back, but looks to be two good moves.

As I say, they played a shit side, and their game against Gepps Cross after Easter will give a better indication of where theyre at.

Let me guess, following this game all the PD players were bragging out loud, with someone within hearing distance, about how they are going to beat SMOSH and Flinders Pk easily when they play them?????

Was down at DP World yesterday for an interview and saw a few PD players out the front waiting for the chuck truck to arrive, on arrival this horrid big manly looking woman jumps out and proceeded a little too eagerly to the PD players who were talking about the footy from the weekend, I thought this was a bit odd. As the beast of a woman began to serve pies, iced coffees and the occasional chiko roll to the mass of heathen wharfies, the PD players continued to talk footy "What BS can we spin her today" I heard one PD player say to another. Nearing closer I noticed the purveyor of fine foods hanging on their every word, in fact even pulling out a notepad and pen from her massively proportioned top pocket. It was then that I realised that petcon is actually DP World's munchie mole.
