Siddle making it look easy with the bat. 24 off 13 balls with 5 x 4s

Smith take note, thats what can be achieved if you actually use that piece of wood in yours hands called a BAT !!

Simply too many batters in Australia cant bat more than half a session, when someone like Silk and Cosgrove bat all day like in the shield final they are labelled slow and boring. Id give anything for an Aussie batter to make a 300 ball century at the moment

Totally agree.

Really feel sorry for the Aussie bowlers this series.
Have toiled very hard and have been badly let down by the batsmen as well as the selectors.
Aust could have only dreamt about winning the toss in ALL 4 Tests and batting 1st yet have simply blown their chances by not working hard enough with the bat.

Siddle looking good to be the 1st No. 9 in history to top score in both innings of a Test match.

The positive is we probably have the best batting tail in the world!

;)

Maxwell opening the batting in test cricket is a slap in the face to all the other openers in Australia's history who put their body balls and blood on the line in shield cricket to wear the baggy green.

How embarrassing for Australia that the number 9 is top scorer in both innings.
As a Siddle fan I am the first to admit he hasnt had his best series with the ball but atleast he always gives 100% in whatever he is doing. I think thats why a lot of people have warmed to him, one of the few players to show a bit of ticker and look like they actually give a stuff and bleed for the baggy green

Siddle 1st No. 9 batsmen in Test history to score a 50 in each innings.

Gets stumped off a wide that wasn't called a wide.

Still OUT i know but should've been called, another umpire blunder.

Yeah but Pattinson is the only one to get a wicket with the score under 100 this series.

Expect India to knock these runs off comfortably.
The pitch isn't as bad as people are making it out to be.
Most of the Aussie dismissels were poor shots and technique.
