TTG have pulled their D grade and will only have a C grade in C3 due to huge lack of numbers.

I would love to know where you got your information from, because this is definitely the first I have heard.

FYI - there are no spots in the C grade comp for TTG to go into so is everyone suggesting an 11 team comp in the C grade?

I reckon the league canvassed the Div 7 clubs to see if there is anyone wanting to go into Div 6 and the answer was a resounding “no”

Flinders Uni have the last C4 spot on hold I think at the minute.

So it will still show as a bye until they say a definite yay or nay I gather..

you can understand that, you build yourself up all season to play in a certain div, you would find a few div 7 teams would be hoping they are around the mark for a flag and thats bringing a certain buzz around the club as well as even a few new or old faces out to play.. to put a team up this time of the season could be unsettling for a side/ club and have a pretty negative effect.

TTG remaining in Div 6 for the year isnt ideal but seems to be the only logical and least unsettling action at this stage.

the point i was trying to make was this is a C and D grade TTG why reward them with staying in 6 if i was in div 6 i would see it as a joke and an insult to be playing them while my B grade mates have to miss out on a game

when you have 4 teams in the actual divisions then you should ahve to field the sides no matter what you cant just pick and choose from year to year if you wanna keep 3 or 4 sides

is that atilio marando?

Played a year at Bos in 2008! I'd say coming to play with his mate Tommy Guerin

Til's would be a handy inclusion. Tom Guerin another old scholar coming to play this year.
Any thoughts of returning Mighty, surely the thought has crossed your mind?
I think BOS will be there when the whips are cracking this year and i expect an improved B grade side.
Squid has rallied the troops. Even a fresh guernsey in 2013.
Round 1 just two weeks away v Lockleys at Lockleys

Not this year sprinter!

What I don't understand is how your mate at work knows this when i haven't heard it, unless your mate is on the commitee.

FC we were contacted by the league in regards to our thoughts on TTG staying in div 7 and a club from div 7 going to div 6. We were told the club from div 7 wanted to go to div 6. For the reasons we were given we were happy for this to happen as it was similar to the reasons behind the SHOC decision the year before. This was about a month ago, so a decision could have been made back then instead of this raising its head 2 weeks before the season.

ill explain so wos said they couldnt get 2 teams so we played 6 quarters at all times they kept 39 players on the bench for the whole game nice strat they probably beat the B grade not easy either they did jump the A grade in the 4th quarter but 5th and 6th pooraka had all the run and most of the play just failed to score goals
WOS came to play we expected to win i think it was close in the end not sure how many they kicked against us but yeah cant kick 14 points in 3 quarters

we kicked 5 goals 14 points in the 3 quarters the A grade played

WOS used the 39 players to good use over 6 quarters while we kept with the 2 teams

that goal umpire and his 2 side kicks from WOS pissing behind the goals on the grass was not a good sign no respect

It's not as if it's that hard to walk to the toilets. The above is just an easy out in my mind even if understandable.

Neck up GW you got touched up by a club two divs below you. Maybe you should concentrate on the game rather than what volunteers and spectators are up to...
