Wow! Great effort East Torrens. No finals for 10+ years, now into the GF.

TTG's dream of the triple is over. My tip down the gurgler. Great season from them nonetheless.

Well not a great weekend for us. Beaten by 2 better sides on the day but a great year for us non the less.

Id back Glenelg in the GF they will add Botha and Carey to their side also.

Northens v West Torrens in the Bs will be a very tight game, probably back Northerns to win, however they have the pressure of being undefeated

Surely Adelaide Uni or another A Grade Ground would be a better fit to host the Grand Final than Park 25. Not a great spectator venue.

Adelaide Uni pitch has been shit the last couple of years. At least at Park 25 you get a top class deck. Agree the spectator facilities are terrible though. Will there be drinks, bbq, food etc there I wonder.

I think it might be time to look at the idea of home grand finals. Adelaide oval will probably not be available again due to the AFL needing it mid march so could be a good idea to trial it next year. As was said above Park 25 is a terrible place to watch cricket.

what is wrong with using University Oval as the Grand Final venue?

It has a grandstand, bar facilities.

Did you not read Tony's post at all?

The pitch is ordinary and in a Grand Final you would want at a minimum a decent standard deck.

Got 230 odd. Great recovery.

Daniel Leigh unlucky not to be in grade team of the year. Lots of wickets.

Doesn't bowl that quick so I guess people don't rate him. Probably why they keep getting out to him.
