Felt sorry for the poor kid, had to boost his confidence!

Na in all seriousness, probs the fastest delivery i've faced in years and in swung and, cut back in and just took the top of off stump.. UNPLAYABLE! Even broke the bail such was the venom of the attack!

He was bowling off spin...... watch it out the hand mate lol

Interesting looking back over some of the earlier predictions in the season...

OKC! wrote:I think you will find OTH will be a massive chance this year. They are my tip to sneak under the radar all year and make the GF.

Phantom Gossiper wrote:I can assure you nobody at R&C are underestimating OTH, especially with McNair and Neil back in the mix it makes for a strong batting line up when you add Scott, Smith & Hanisch.

Similar line up to a few years ago when they finished 2nd in arguably a stronger grade 1 comp that year!

Grahaml wrote:Bit paranoid about SW are we?

Grahaml wrote:Perhaps you should worry less about October mind games and more about reaching the other end.

I'll be happy to eat my words at the end of the season as I do genuinely hope that you guys make the GF, you have a great bunch of blokes up at the hill.

Phantom Gossiper wrote:Yep OTH clear cut favs now!!!

Phantom Gossiper wrote:McNair, Neil, Scott, Smith, Fantasia, Hanisch.. arguably if not the best top order on paper in the comp..

As for putting OTH above Westies, i've had the luxury of seeing them first hand, therefore giving me the right or better position to make a judgement on where i thought they were in the pecking order.

OKC! wrote:OTH will play in the GF this year for sure if they stay together..

Grade 1 record. What's wrong with that? Never suggested we'd go undefeated again or anything.

Here's an interesting tidbit. Apparently if you play 4 games in grades 6, 7 or 8 you can play finals for grades 1-5 but not 6-8!

I'm guessing 2x games in 6, 1x in 7, 1x 8? That would prob make sense, enough games to qualify but majority of games in higher grade prevents playing lower, perhaps also not actual enough games played in specific grade to qualify for that grade.

Hey fanta,

When you lose this week are you gonna sit in the corner of the change rooms with OTHPhilby and cry with him just like he used to in footy?

Remember that philby? Losing footy and sitting in the change rooms weeping like a sissy?

Nope. Whether those 4 games were played in one grade or several, you can play in the 2 day finals but not the finals for the side you've played in.

not quite oz im sure the rules are div 6,7,8 require a minimum of 7 games to quailify for finals.... div 1,2,3,4,5 require 4 games to qualify for finals.... so if you only played 4 games in div 6,7,8 you only qualify for finals in div 1,2,3,4,5 ;)
