I think we have to recruit a couple of decent batters from interstate for next season, our kids jus dont seem up to it

Come on Blueboys. However, if we make the final it would have to be one of the weakest teams to have ever done so. If we play the Warriors they will smash us. All of our best batsmen are either in India or playing for other stats.

If you make the final id imagine Watto would suit up, Cummins also a chance

Langer has worked wonders with the Warriors, they were all at sea at Christmas.

I wonder if its a coincidence that our young players have gone downhill since around then.

Redbacks show their true form today against nsw 2nd eleven.
Our bowling is OK its very hard to be to attacking when we are only protecting small totals or trying to restrict the opposition.
Our batting has been nothing short of pathetic for at least 10 years.I think I could count on one hand the number of times we got past 350 in 10 years. Our batting coaches really do have to get it sorted out

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

The word 'great' really does get thrown around a fair bit these days.

FFS, it looks like we are going to finish 5th out of 6, imagine if we came 3rd.

Anyone know the last time we won this many games in a season? Disappointing we couldn't make the final but it feels like its been a long time since we were a chance to host it heading into the last game of the year.

Seriously??! This has been out best season in 13 years?! Surely that's a positive, there's still a hell of alot to improve on which should be a good thing for the future. Hopefully a few of these young batsmen step up, maybe a good solid county cricket season for them, and klinger returning to form will be important.
