It's like Jesus pronounced "Hey-soos" ( and Don Jose "Hoe-say").
That's Spanish for you...

I gather that in Portuguese J has more of "zh" sound than the "h" in Spanish.

To be fair, we only rang them for ten minutes as our students went off to their Chapel Service.
Why not be proud about one of our fold being proclamed Pope? Besides, he is a pretty good choice - excellent record on social justice issues. Even the way he lives his own life is a good model for others - refused to move into the very opulent Cardinal palace and have a driver etc.

I look forward one day to seeing you at Parent/Teacher night. May I ask if she is at the Senior or Junior school?
The Senior school hardly ever uses bells, but, yes, we did for ten minutes yesterday.
Not so sure that anyone was yelling 'we won, we won' lol but we were certainly helping let our students know that you can achieve anything you wish to in life. We were able to state that Pope Francis one day would have been in exactly the same position they are, sitting in a desk at the same type of school that they are now.
Admittedly, not sure if any of our female students will ever be able to be Pope.... but .... lol

Aaaahhh,

Both Popes (current and past) were seen dining together in an out of the way cafe last week,

hugging each other and complimenting each other.

And both complaining about their boss.
