well this is the list that I heard were coming to the bears, Leon Davis, Peter Burgoyne, Liam Jurrah and one of the Bond boys, not sure how they could fit all those boys in :)

I would say Dane swan is more realistic than them 4.

I was having a chuckle hearing it

Reading the standard today and it said something about phil smith possibly heading to Melbourne as he's had a job offer with an AFL club, will be a big loss for the blues if that happens, but good luck to smithy if he goes not very often someone would get that opportunity.
Any blues boys know anymore about this?

Speaking to a mate from across the range down the local last night and he seemed pretty confident that borders would be acquiring Jake Bowens services this season

I hope all this is correct , it only raises the chances higher of yet another blues premiership assult. Its no wonder Collo gets the big bucks the greatest of all coaches has stated he will not buy a team he will use his juniors , well i love the blues but that is utter bs and must be a dig at Meningie with the ohara influence and recruiting as we have at least 6 RECRUITS , EVEN MORE IF YOU USE THE CORRCT DEFINITION LIVE LOCAL AND PLAYED JUNIOR FOOTY FOR IMPS. we have too many players local missing out that would be a grade starters in any other teams. The great man even considers himself local. Surely the paper has miss quoted the great one. He is never wrong.

Used To Be I think you are being a little harsh on Shane Collins. Imperials have actively recruited one player this year and finished up with Chris Puiatti who is the cousin of two current players. Others may have come but not through aggressive recruiting. Most of the recruits over the past 5 years have been mates of current players and all have stayed around. Several now live and work in the Bridge. 4 colts played a majority of last year and several played in the 2011 flag. Not sure what your issue is but Imperials is probably as strong as it has even been and Collins has contributed exceptionally to this ongoing success.

Maybe true if your mate from across the range is having his mail delivered via horse and cart, had some truth back in November. Looked good in his new shinny Roos guernsey tonight and it also suited his tan.
