Is suspending them from the next Test the right solution? No way.

Was the task meaningless and going to achieve nothing? Yup.

Does it show a lack of leadership from the coaches? Absolutely

We just had a complete review of CA and we deliberately put in a "Dictator" coach reporting to a "Holy" selector, wtf are we asking Clarke to justify an action?
Have we screwed up?

Pattinson says he deserved to be dropped.

Complete review, my arse.

The end result was predetermined and a report was written to fit it.

Pretty sure this was just another way of using the rotation policy without calling it that

OK, but.......They replaced Nillson with Arthur to get a Coach that had a lot more responsibility and would be able to handle more than just a "coaching" role so what has come to pass, the PR guy or Captain does the work?

I think the COACH has to take the lead and tell us what he is aiming at because all I have heard from him to date is that we will beat India in every session ( all I would have expected from Tim)?

I thought the whole idea of his appointment was to tactically implement the Cricket Australia direction from now on! He must have direction to move forward from the Board and should be able to articulate how he is going to achieve this? Whether it be juniors, state level or all different aspects of the game, as they are his responsibility?

Clarke is a very good cricketer (i tried convincing myself for quite a while he wasn't, i have always disliked him) but as a captain, he is a spud!!! Being a leader doesn't end when you leave the ground...

I think what has been forgotten a little bit in this watson saga, is that he was coming home anyway to see the birth of his child. If anything i gained a little bit more respect for the bloke with that issue. I agree he probably should have filled in the form, i personally believe it's a load of bollocks that Mickey mouse needed it done, wouldn't you hold a team meeting, or actually have a chat to the lads.... Sack Arthur and bring in Waugh or Lehman...

Gee, some incentive for doing the wrong thing. I wouldn't have handed mine in either if it meant I avoided fielding for 3 days in stifling heat and getting my arse belted.

As Mark Waugh said, what would have happened if 8 players didn't do their homework???
