Still here is the based on what we have left:
Warner
Cowan

Clarke
Haddin
Smith / Maxwell
Henriques
Starc
Siddle
Doherty
Lyon

I really think Lyon should play with Doherty. And well we need or have to now play Smith or Maxwell.

No choice now.

Good decision!!

There is no I in team and no johnson, khawaja, pattinson & watto either 8)

Thank god, I thought I was the only one in Australia that thought this was a warranted move. Harsh but culture is one of the hardest things to build in a team sport and if you are not on board then face the consequences.

 Bit of an overreaction dont you think?

Was always coming home after the 3rd test for the birth of his first child.

Thats rubbish. If he was always coming home he would've left days ago, to ensure he didn't miss the birth. He is coming home now because he spat the dummy.

Hope we never see him in the whites for Australia again.

No cause he was coming home after the third test not the second. That's why he didnt leave days ago

I'm with you boys, I bet Hughes had his in as early as he could considering the pressure he is under for his spot. The arrogance to think your above the Australian cricket team and the things expected of you.

How about the selectors let the "team" build the culture, and by saying that, stop flipping the playing 11 around at every opprotunity and let a settled 11/12 players build an environment the players on the fringe want to be a part of and in turn earn the right to?

With every muppet ( read Maxwell / Doherty ) getting gifted a baggy green, how can you possibly say its the selectors trying to build a culture when the players dont know if they are in* or out at any given point.

Obviously there was nothing wrong with the culture of the team until a couple of years ago.

I have followed Cricket for nearly forty years and this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Since when did Coaches need feedback from players to do their job? Since when does filling out a feedback form become more important than the ability to make runs or score wickets?

We all know the answer. MICKY MUST GO.

cripple wrote:Its a job, requirement of the job was to complete a questionnaire and apparently the four players haven't completed the questionnaire as required. Some sort of message needs to be sent because obviously the players aren't figuring it out themselves. its a long fall from the top of the pile and australia is quickly reaching the bottom.

And whose job is it to determine strategy and areas of improvement? They've been sacked for failing to do someone else's job.

Good to see Haddin finally over there, even if Wade is OK to play Haddin must play as a batter, experienced and plays spin well.
