Carey was always going to fail today. Came out in a negative headspace blocking everything. Unfortunately Raph is about to get out

With SA gaining first innings points it now means NSW, Tas and WA will be eliminated from shield contention if they fail to pick up maximum points. Tas look in the most trouble, cant see them knocking off QLD

Tas also lead by 4 now with no wickets down. Could be a cracker there. NSW need 150 to win. Going to be a massive day for sheild cricket.

At least people are paying attention to the sheild this season as it is very close.

Tas have to set up a result, they need maximum points, think you will find they set a generous declaration
