Not surprised... What have you heard?

I've only heard second hand information, but mostly that players are very unhappy with the coach, some going as far as refusing to play A grade.

He is a very good player but can be a bit different..

R.Illuminato (Pooraka)
S.Stolcman (Pooraka)
J. Bailey (Pooraka)

J. Jarrett (Pooraka)
C.Mclean (Ingle Farm)
J. Carson (Ingle Farm)
J. Dunnicliff (woody South)
M. Travis (Pooraka)
G. Carey (Para Hills)
D.Miller (Walkerville)

J. McCarthy (Ingle Farm) 12th man

Congratulations to all those who made it, you get NOTHING for being in this team except the glory of having your name on the forum. Any others that anyone has??

I'd also be surprised if Illuminato/Stolcman and Bailey dont make the actualy team of the year, along with Carey. JJ would be knocking on the door too.

Pretty Stock standard i think for the year.

A very good side OKC..
The 2 highlighted blokes have an x factor about them that may be the only chance other than weather of derailing Pooraka's perfect season..
In saying that, I sense a really strong resolve in the Bulls line up that will be very difficult to break...

Agree 100%

Ingle Farm didn't have Jimmy when we played against them last game and Carey didn't have much of a total to defend last time he bowled to us but has bowled well in the past.

We still have a job to do saturday, 4 down but wanna try and bat out the day. I am not out on 1 at the moment, if i bat for the 80 overs and put one bad ball to the boundary and a single per over i will finish on 401* i have it all planned.

Out of 4 two day teams, Brighton looks to be relegated in three of those grades A4,B1 & C1. Flinders Uni two , two day teams also relegated in both A2's and B1's. Tough year for these clubs

Flinders Uni to bounce back to A2 next year. Always normally around the mark, and it was a very close bottom 6 this year, Look for them to smash it next year!

Big round in B2 .

Ingle Farm have snuck in by .06, coming from 6th position. Farmers won outright against Pultney who only had 8 players roll up to the game. 2 were already out in the first dig. I/F made 184 last week and Pult were 3/66. Nocked them over for 99 . I/F went out to bat made 71 and the knocked there depleted side over for 80 or something. Collece 23.55 pts.

Para Hills who where in 5th missed out winning outright by 1 wicket. They only finished 3 points behing I/F.

PAOC who where 4th, had payneham in there 2nd dig 6/44 with 9 minutes and 3 overs to go, after winning on 1st innings.. Payneham decided to declare as to end the match. Under the rules you cant declare to finish the game eg 3 overs or time to go. ATCA have awarded PAOC the 4 wickets that they still hadnt taken but it still left them .06 behind.

Wow, big news.

0.06 is amazingly tight between two sides at the end of the season!
Even funnier when you look at the game they played this year that ended in a tie!!!

Fairly poor form from Pulteney to only have 8 players at a B-grade fixture!!!

That tie was a story in it self.

Very poor from Pultney. They wanted to pull the stumps up and couldnt understand why we wanted to keep going.

It was round 1 and Ingle Farm were chasing 200. They were 9 wickets down, but still 30 odd runs short. The last two thought they had passed PAOC's score, so number 11 threw his wicket away next ball. Alas the books didn't add up, so both teams agreed on a tie.

Agreed on a tie? So I take it the books didn't show a tie either? Ingle Farm were actually behind and managed to sweet talk PAOC into giving them a tie? Wow! I bet they'd take that back now if they could!!!

Not sure Ingle Farm were behind in the book. Running total showed them in front, but batting and bowling didn't reconcile. I think it all got too hard to work out so they agreed on a Tie. Oh, the benefits of having a scorer!
