Good to see George amongst the wickets. Hopefully he does well if he replaces Sayers/Putland/Richardson and whoever else is inured and unavailable in the next Shield match.

Wish I could have stayed the whole day but had to get to the airport. Even if it is just a second XI game, it's never nice to get out for 99! He looked really good too, very difficult batting conditions and he roughed it out

big talk around teh place that he is gone, but he does have a year on his contract. Dont know if/how he can leave with a year to run?

I think it will be a "mutual decision" to end his contract early

Would think Boof would try to entice him up there although hopefully Boof is in charge of Australia by then ;)

According to someone at the WACA yesterday Dan has signed for QLD and that's the reason he isn't being considered for selection
