I was speaking with demon footballer on the weekend and they have an exciting development planned for the unused land they own on Windsor avenue. This looks a prosperous business venture and should be the answer to thier money troubles.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Sure it's unused land? Thought they were making the cricket club lose one of its nets?

Wouldn't say desperate, more strategic planning. We already have our pokies which are leased to ClubSA which returns a reasonable income. If we can turn half the car park into an income producing asset, then it makes sense to explore the option.
While we don't make a lot of money, we are debt free with $3/4m+ in WFC owned assets.

Fair enough but I also would of thought a club like Waybacks would also look after another teams with the Waybacks name not kick them out? Plus they are the only cricket club in Lincoln that still goes back to a footy club after there games!

Sounds like thier could be a split between the football and cricket clubs. The cricketers cliam to have been left in the dark over this with no consultation, just an email sent to Pom Ovens, and are considering moving to a new location and it may be ravendale with the tasman footballers involved in the club.
How many sqaure meters are down there blues?

:? . (Meant to read $.75m)
And I think there are plans to ensure that the WFC retain their nets. The club is pretty proud of the fact that they are the only club in Port Lincoln that have maintained an alliance with the cricket. Obviously not an easy thing to do apparently.

I think it is a great initiative.
Big demand for industrial sheds and rent is currently high.
Cricket is a secondary sport at best that I presume brings in very little income during the summer months, the football club might be trying to get rid off them.
Selling off the site and investing the 3 or 4 million in the ravendale complex might also be an option? ;)

I cant see how taking a $250,000 loan to put up storage sheds to make money will work. It will take 15 years minimum to pay off and doesnt solve the biggest current problem of the current leaky roof that needs replacing at a cost of over $100,000.
I can't see it working blues but no doubt you have looked over the figures.
