Yep, I passed plenty of bogans on my walk home the other night.

On a more serious note, it would be interesting to know what type of influence this car race has on driver attitudes/road safety, around the city in the weeks leading up to, and after the event.

and how do you know they are bogans?

they were wearing port magpie gear.....

I'm still suffering. My counsellor is pretty sure I have PTSD too. To make matters worse, the bloke now knows where I work (I relocated shortly after the initial incident), and has been walking around the premises. I am taking him to court, and him entering the property is a violation of his bail conditions. I'll be going to work this afternoon to get the CCTV footage, to hopefully get him where he belongs.

Me too, my work has suffered since then, and it's affected me at home too. I don't sleep as well, or as long as I used to, and I have nightmares a fair bit too. I want him locked up, not just for my safety, but for the safety of others too.

On the TV news reports on holdups, they say "no-one was injured"

That gives me the sh*ts.

My sister worked in a deli some years ago and the lady who owned and ran the shop got a gun shoved in her face. She was never the same afterwards  (fortunately my sister wasn't there at the time).

You want to know what the cop said :?: "If you look down the barrel of the gun, if you don't see a bullet, the gun's not loaded"
In the words of John McEnroe "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS"

I've noticed in recent times, the media - probably newspaper articles in particular - are now adding the word "physically", so that is reading..

"no one was physically injured".

Getting back to the general "crime and punishment" theme, laws regarding bail and parole sh1t me.

Politicians are supposed to introduce laws to make our lives safer and better but they are too worried about non-issues such as their own popularity
