Looking forward to a big night at the Irish Club for the end of year presentation night. I know BAD Dittmar is looking forward to skulling a few pints of Guiness and hopefully making the state team. Hes hoping he doesnt have to celebrate with any of the Flinders guys espically Neville if he somehow happens to make the side. :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers:

Should be a good night tonight. Can't see it getting to big as I'm on a budget with Soundwave coming up tomorrow (ps, sure glad we won the game dubbed as the Soundwave Cup last week, might've been difficult getting up on Sunday!) Although stranger things have happened.

Anybody out there willing to have a crack at guessing medal winners & team of the year members???

Well the coaches have been responsible for their team selections in conjunction with the afore mentioned criteria. They have also been encouraged to get their reps to the evening so I'm not sure we should be asking for Team of the year tips...medal winners perhaps
I will say this, if Bread Dittmar wins the medal I will shout the bar and at the end of the night I will clean the urinal...with my tounge

Settle down WW ;) , just trying to get some discussion going! Fair chance I already know 14 of the members who are making the team!

Maybe I should ask for tips in the two preliminary finals???

The Na Fianna Side?

Who was the player from Port who bobbed up with a cracking header against Onkas? They should win the medal IMHO...

I like your thinking Cash, I think 14 Na Fianna players would make a great team of the year! ;)

However, it's not the case, the GFHASA get me to collate some data to assist in naming members of the team of the year.

Pretty cool moment as a Gaelic tragic tonight. Watched young Nathan Rose aka Rosey make "that call" to his Mum tonight to tell her what he achieved. I remember "that call" from 22 years ago. A great moment for a young kid and to see someone new finally realise their talent reminded me that our great game is worth the effort. An exiting career awaits this young man
Well done to all tonight's medal winners.

Yep great effort by the Petal and Pokey Khan. Both quite deserving from my side, luckily for you Dittmar did not take out the grand prize, maybe nek year. An exciting career surely awaits him too, maybe clinging onto the coat tails of Pokey n Rosey.

Interesting to see no Neville last night, although Pat would have done him proud in the AGM.

MBK looked like he had a good night, leaving with the most attractive girl in the joint. I was surprised to learn that she was from NF rather than FON haha

As for bagging other clubs snake eyes, I think you will find we have a good relationship with officials at most clubs and the association. Maybe worry about trying to beat Irish this weekend...

officials maybe but not with any of the other teams.

Pull your head in mate. He played more than half the games for the year, with the only games missed being for work as a shift worker or on the day his Grandmother passed away. All for a bit of banter, but get your facts right.
