How will we bowl them out with only 3 bowlers. Time to get rid of the selectors

Have just turned on the cricket for the first time today and I'm shocked that the pitch actually looks pretty good, not a complete dustbowl... is it playing badly or just poor batting?

Poor batting, but the ball has seamed early and turned for the spinners.

And its only the second test.

Only one change was needed in my opinion. And that was the second spinner in for a seamer.

Not even the worst spinner from his state to wear the baggy. Bryce McGain has that title.

I don't think those 2 were going to hang around for long.

But if they were going to declare, why didn't Pattinson and Doherty bat like it was the last over in a T20 game instead of blocking it out? Could have got another 10 runs which could be the difference in a low scoring match.

I am often baffled by the lack of aggression showed by teams just before they declare - if you are going to declare anyway you have nothing to lose (except your batting average which shouldn't be a factor in a team game...) by getting out. So you should be swinging as hard as you can every ball.

I don't think they were aware, which is not good. You are right. Would have been better throwing the bat.
