I'd love to see a book featuring say 10-12 well known footballers, perhaps one from each club, from the 80-90's, 40-60 pages kind of like short (auto)biographies.
Could be, as a start:
Nwd - Aish, McIntosh
Bays -Salisbury
North - Redden, Sanders(?), Klomp(?)
Torrens - Lindsay
Port - Ginever, Hodges
Sturt - Paynter, Davies

Boring. Players like:

North - Dietrich, Sims
Port - Granger, Hodges (only if he rips into the crows)
Centrals - Wilbur
Nwd - McIntosh (good one)
Glenelg - Fidge
Sturt - Squire, Atkinson
Woodville - Jackovich, Sewer
Torrens - Muir

I try to be non-denominational and hassle Centrals players from all era.

(But mainly because Whufc is a xxxx and it needed pointing out that Cook's at least won a flag. Happy to make it Rene Van Dommele if you'd prefer though.)

Where did I say Cook didn't, I just pointed out a story and that the footballer we said would be better CLEARLY was!!

Funniest part was Cook did drop the "he can come see me when his won a league flag, that won't happen" lol, Slade ended up winning 1732 premiership medals didn't he.

Anyway this topics about 9 time premiership players so Norwood players don't really fit in that discussion

Play on

Oh well.

You might want to be careful to avoid accusations of being happy to dish it out but getting sulky when the roles are reversed. Not sure who'd be bitter enough to make that accusation though. :D

That was Ken hinkleys summation of the creed from memory.

Judging by the last few years, you could say that about the players as well.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

maybe they can display the book online in YOUR centrelink office, you know the one, right behind where your previous attempt at a club was, on The Parade? Come on, you remember, you had a shitty run-down market there, full of beggars & losers......so it was knocked down to build a modern facility full of beggars & losers! Centrelink isn't exclusive to Elizabeth you know.

Invested in footy instead, not sure if you went much last year but Norwood went OK if I recall.
