And India pick 4

It's a pretty big hint to how the pitch will play when the home side who are renowned for doctoring pitches decide to play 3-4 spinners isn't it.

For me play 2 spinners, win the toss bat put 450 on the board, GAME ON

WOW pretty harsh on Lyon if true!!!

He didn't bowl well in the first test but should have had GOD out!!! Would like to have seen him get a chance with Doherty bowling from the other end.

I hope I'm wrong but essentially we are playing one spinner again, Maxwell isn't a spinners bum hole and personally I would give Clarke and Warner the ball before him

With all this rotation rubbish and the injury cloud over Pattinson I'm surprised they will risk him!

Lyon didn't bowl bad in the first test.
One thing about selection, batsman get heaps of chances and bowlers have one bad match and they're out

Lyon has been out of form for awhile, however he would of benefited from having big show or Doherty to tandem. Who's ping to sing the song if they win?
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

i agree, but surely given he is allegedly the best we got (which says something) he shouldve kept his spot and doherty comes in.
