Sudjai Cook I remember him, funniest thing I ever saw was him getting escorted out of Craigmore High, he visited his old man who was a art teacher there, walked around telling everyone he was a Crows player, most people told him he was shit and our student PE teacher would become a better footballer.

He lost the plot completely!!!!!! and as the years went on we were proven right!

Sudjai Cook : most Norwood supporters refer to him as a Glenelg player.

Yet he's won more SANFL flags than Peter Vivian.

Two Gowans = one McIntosh seems a bit weighted towards the Gowans to me.

Maybe if they were quadruplets it'd make more sense.

Two minutes and a lucky Phil McGuiness hoof away from being a Norwood legend.

Pretty sure Eugene played a pivotal role in Norwood coming back against Glenelg during the 99 finals when Glenelg were 26 points up into time on of the last quarter.

And lost. :D

So by your reckoning Slades a better player than Cook who's a better player than Vivian?

Sounds about right to me.

You only had to watch Slade for five minutes to realise he was better than Cook!

It says alot about the coaches Centrals have had considering in your mind we haven't had single footballer better than any of Norwoods yet made 12 straight GF's

Cook is not in the same universe as Vivian. Never saw how Cook made a Crows list.

Will be an interesting read when I get around to it, won't be rushing out to buy it!!

I'd love to see a book featuring say 10-12 well known footballers, perhaps one from each club, from the 80-90's, 40-60 pages kind of like short (auto)biographies.
Could be, as a start:
Nwd - Aish, McIntosh
Bays -Salisbury
North - Redden, Sanders(?), Klomp(?)
Torrens - Lindsay
Port - Ginever, Hodges
Sturt - Paynter, Davies
