Both are crap, how can the leading spinner in the shield this season not even get a gig to India, what a joke

What a comment. Any spinner would have been collared by Dhoni in that last test. Lyon has good control but needs to be a little more patient and take some pace off a few more deliveries. It would also have helped Lyon to have another tweaker bowling at the other end as well IMO.
The long line of people lining up to have a crack at Lyon is an even bigger joke. Replace him with spinner number ninety seven since Warne pulled the pin? A bit late for that with the Ashes coming up this year. No one is champing at the bit as the obvious replacement for Lyon so how about backing the bloke wearing the Baggy Green.

Fawad ahmed is being rushed through the citizenship qualification to be an Australian before the ashes tour. Sooner the better.

What my point more is, is that if Lyon finishes with another 2/200 and Doherty happens to get a 5 fa etc etc, their is the real chance they may go with the 'in form' spinner straight up in the Ashes. Remembering Lyon didn't have a great Aussie summer either.
