lutheran must have injuries  i thought smithfield vs elizabeth would have been much closer considering your grounds are like spitting distance from each other :?

Tell you what,I reckon we are the specialists at losing by small margins. My tip is that we will beat Elizabeth this week in the A's (If we do it would be about time we beat them lol).Should be an interesting clash in the magoos aswell duncs.Might be the place to be on Saturday. We were only talking about the second semi in 2005 the other day (One of the best, hardest games of suburban footy I have ever seen with one of the biggest brawls you will ever see).

I think every man and his dog got involved after that clown jumped the fence and cracked one of our players then half of our team chased the bloke into the crowd and yes supporters and players from both sides kicked the living s**t out of each other for about 10-15 minutes just before 3/4 time.We were in front then aswell then went on to lose by 9 points.

No wonder there was so much emotion in the GF!
Crikey - I don't fire up too much fist wise....but when I saw a player stomp on an Eagles player's head that day even I wanted to run out and have a word or two. However, I wouldn't say that particular players actions were indicative of Kenilworth. You probably know who I'm talking of.

I cant say I saw that incident but yes I do know of whom you would be refering to.We have had some great matches over the past few years,we just seem to lose them at the end lol.Im hopeful it will change this week and get us back on track to where we should be this year.i know were not but we could quite easily be 5-1 this year and i reckon we are only a win away from getting results.

By the way i reckon the 2005 GF was pretty tame compared to that Second Semi,I can recall incidents in that semi that were pretty intense including when Shayne Mitchell got a flying head butt and then they were both down for the count the elizabeth faithful all cheered because mitch was KO'd but then he some how got up and the kenilworth fans all cheered when the guy that head butted him got stretchered off.Yes Mitch was not a popular boy at Elizabeth lol.I dont have a problem with the bloke but I can see why others do.

It's good to be balanced isn't it LK ;) Nice to talk to someone else who isn't totally one-eyed.
I didn't witness the semi, and yes the GF was apparently tame compared to that game.
I'll never forget the incident I'll referred too though.

Who was the Eagles player who did the 'flying headbutt'?

Dunno his name but hes the big bloke with a bald head and a beard. We refer to him as infamous lol. The thing he did wrong was to head butt him,you wont knock him out.As much as people hate him he gets a few big hits from retaliation but gets up from each one.

The 'butter' sounds like someone I know.
I'll ask Lizzy - he'll be able to tell me if I'm right.

Probably, does not matter now anyway just refering to that game.Anyone that was there that day would remember that game for a long time and we did lose but then we were always going to play Elizabeth in the GF anyway as we were clearly the best 2 teams in the competition.Even though we got there late from kicking Central United of the ground in the B's in the first semi just down the road.

Hahaha. This bald beared guy is one of the best club men u will get, a gentle giant and we all love him. DW u would know him well.
I think ur memory of events has been exaggerated by maybe 2 many beers???? Lasted about 5 mins, was started by a group of 3 of ur fans who were investigated. All was initally caused by a combination of Shayne Mitchells dog acts on the field and our runner Mick Plattens mouth! hahahaha. There was no "flying" headbutt! Just a clash of heads in play. All history now, and yeah that 2nd semi rates above the GF for many of the guys.

This club man would have a couple of brothers - neither of whom play at the club any more Lizzy?
If it is - a champ. Hard but fair player.
