Just a quick question for anyone out there. Who was the club that let their A grade coach go to melbourne last sat instead of coaching?? The club lost!!!. Also Heard that a past club hero coached them and didnt get a very good response!! Why would a club get a coach that has commitments on Saturdays??? Anyone know who it was and wat do you think!????

Wisey definately is a fair player and i would actually say thet if he has reacted he has been severely provoked......

As for Christies being a hard team what a crock of shit ...... Not many hard ball players but 3 or 4 cheap shot kings.... there is nothing hard about guys who throw punches when someone isnt even looking

Baxter is an excitement machine who suffers badly from white line fever and loves a goal !! Celebrates like he just won the world cup !! Lucky i was not there to see 8 of them last week

A bad round with some huge floggings but aldinga and lonsdale would have to take something out of their results. Both where tipped to be beaten by 20 odd goals. Are flagges struggling or have christies improved?

Any early tips for the mail medal now that we have played 5 rounds. Maybe Tucker (Brighton) , Milo (Reynella) ,M Reavill (Cove) , Manhood (porties). What do u guys think?

The club you would be talking about was Morphie Parks and yes it was a major reason for the loss. The club knew when they appointed Flies that he was going to be away that weekend and hoped that the assistant coach would be able to get them over the line but not the case. Will still be a long year for the Roos, but with Peter back in charge the club is heading in the right direction. The players are more disipline and know if the don't tow the line it's out the door they go. The current players the club has are defenatly not super stars but they are there for the right reasons and are something to build around and get the club back on track and start climbing up that ladder. There is a quick fix and thats to go out and spend big bucks on players, but thats not what the club wants to do, rebuilding jnr grades and attracting the right senior players to the club is the way to go but that want happen over night, so hang in there Roos supporter and get behind the club, i know it's hard to read the paper some sunday mornings including this weekends, but get down to the club and help get the Roos back on track.

By the way how the fitness levels going insider? Still having a punt and a few Pints?

Sounds great for the sfl..... Awesome league.....

This clearly has to change when people are all ready giving up. what clubs are you people from?

HAHAA You clown prince Jeremy!!!

You left this league because you couldnt get a regular A grade game in a middle ranked Southern league team and now you are bagging it !!

You play in a 7 seven team comp where you dont train and travel for hours to get to games and the bottom 3 get flogged by 30 goals so what is your point ? Doesnt say much for your league if you are a payed player for the top team... think before you talk or keep your mouth shut champ.

As much as i hate playing in the rain i think it's pretty fair to say a few clubs would be hoping for it this weekend! Could be some big blowouts otherwise!
Any one know the outcome of that Cove/Christies incident? Did the bloke get any weeks? Did someone say it was Darren Mason? Or am i tripping, i think he's the most likely bloke although Christies seem to have a couple thugs playing for them at the moment, they tried to brawl us when they played us too this year.

Was led to believe it was Wisey....

how are the draper boys going anyway hotty??

Great effort by the Lions on Saturday, a third of 1st choice A graders unavailable. Some good games played by some lesser known, or 'second string' players.
Milo, too strong. kicking very straight this year, not missing many.
Brighton next week, another big challenge.

Yeah Bachmann will be up there again as their arent many to take votes from him. Milo isnt moving as well as he has in previous years but is a class act but is staying closer to goal this year. I reckon he was at about 70% and still kicked 7 against us.
Hard to see anyone from Cove or Emus winning it as their are too many taking votes from each other. Harris from Lions will poll well again but has missed 3 with injury already and Tedmanson was dropped by South on the weekend so if he plays the rest of the year out will poll very well.
Marion have obviously improved this year so maybe their gun recruit may be a chance??

Cant wait to see the result of Cove v Emus in a couple of weeks and i reckon it will be close. These 2 teams are really standing out at the moment.

i would say matt reavill would be in front t the moment been in top 2 players for the 1st six games. He can take a good mark, and can go into midfield as well. Should be still down glenelg and hope he returns next year.

Fair chance this will be his last year for the Cove this year for a while hopefully anyways. Wants to give the bays another crack and also would love his chance to have a go at getting drafted! Both the Reavills very close to getting drafted a while back gun players the both of them.

yeh its just that he is the quickest player in the league by far and gets the ball then takes off up the wing and has about 4 or 5 bounces making opposition look silly when they try to catch him then kicks goals, also has an awsome leap and takes 1 or 2 hangers every week (weather pending) just enough to get a vote or 2 each week by the umps!
