According to the clearances we have lost 8 and gained 7.
Of the 8 outs 3 were under 18's that went to Greenies. These boys probably wouldn't have broken into the A's this year and would have played B's I would guess
1 was a clearance for 1 game up in the NT
1 was an under 18 to Central United. Don't really know him
1 was a part-time B and C grader that has hardly played over the last few years going to the Hills somewhere
1 is an A grader of quality that came back to us from Gaza, from TTG, from us, from TTG. You get the picture. Good player but hardly what you want at your club
1 is a c grader gone to play with his mates at Modbury

7 ins are hard to judge. A couple look alright, a couple are young blokes and juniors getting cleared from NEMJFA to SAAFL. It's hard to tell but I don't think any will play A's. Maybe 1. Our other apparent signings do not appear on that clearances list yet but I would suggest 2 will play A's

So really we haven't gained or lost...

One from Pultney to GG not on the clearance list yet

I admit that I have not see BL of HV for a couple of years so will not make any comment on their ability to influence the competition but as clubs coming up a division should be keen and anxious to prove themselves.

Any club dropping a division should IMO be damaging just based on experience and perhaps a slightly slower "pace of play" so take these teams as "easy beats" at your peril.

So based on the teams that we played against last year I rate GG (and if the "block" is at FF) as well as the other pick ups we hear rumours about and have confirmed with clearances should be very competitive and dangerous. :(

Salisbury West with a season of finals under their belt will be (or should) be competitive. :?

Plympton will allways have a crack and are difficult to beat at home, because the surroundings are excellent.

As for the rest IHNFI with the exception of......

Greenies...our season will be defined by the players and how serious they are about or club and their ability to commit, anything less than 100% may well see us in a very difficult and unpleasant place but a 100% application will see us causing more than the "odd" upset as was the case last season.

Not sure with Salisbury West they appear to have lost alot to div 1 and 2 clubs but dont know if they have recuited well with the lack of incoming clearances they have.

Most div 1 and 2 clubs have 3 or 4 teams though...

If you Have a look I think you would see that they have been cleared, and for the guy who didn't put on a Guernsey he was registered as a greenacres player last year and hadn't paid subs, but I hear there has been so many tears down there ,that they cleared him, should make the trial game very interesting!!!

No tears. Just annoyed that time was being wasted chasing up the clearances when it could have been a smooth process

About 7 or 8 of their 18 OUTS played A grade last year. Maybe its not just the C grade players needing a new home as we first suspected. Surely they've got some INS to add to their clearance list?

2-3 more current A grade players to put in for clearance yet and few who quit after last season guess money does not buy happyness
