Did anyone see on the local news last night something about the port augusta oval? Was something to do with it being in bad condition due to cricket?

Is it true that some games will still be played on Central Oval this year because things are not going to schedule and may carry over into the 2014 season?

5x3=15. There's the player points taken care of so I guess the other 15+ players are colts and/or Magoos

Will be interesting how many are "A" grade footballers had a quick flick through the names on the sporting pulse not too many house old names a few fridge dwellers and 18s ? unless old raydar Hayes has a few smokeys? Maybe gill bates could inform us of the talent at the hawks nest trainings? It hasnt been too noisy in on here about the south and lions camps anything happening their way anyone heard anything? I did hear turner from sollies could be wearing a big white v this season ?

Few of the lads are u18s and agraders on the clearance list. There are a few players coming back to the club also. Tom Chadwick has had a kick out on the paddock also but can't do fox sports from port so I wouldn't expect him to put on the purple. Never know with radar though

Deano told me he is still playing in Adelaide.(At new club though with friends). As for Copley, I doubt it. Good bloke (even if an ex Squid) but has struggled at different clubs over the last couple years.

Just took a quick look at the clearance pages and i see the fella involved in the B Grade Grand Final Incident has been denied a clearance from his club. Begs the question why? From all reports the club was not impressed with the whole scenario and at the time dis owned the player. What has changed? Opens up a whole series of questions in my mind. If any one has the reasons for the denial of this clearance i would love to hear it?

I dont know any facts on this case, but often a clearance refusal can be traced back to the guy owing the club a few bucks and cant be cleared until he settles up. As I say, that is one reason....

They got hammered last Saturday in a trial at Orroroo but they only took 22 players, no Ryan Morris and no Matt Woolford. Seemed to lack good ruckmen and their defence was a shambles. Apart from that they looked a million dollars
