Clearly some people care. Your post is off topic.
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Could you imagine if myself, hashtag and lordrocco all joined forces to pick on one paricular forumite?? The mods wouldn't let it happen. Yet three mods have joined forces to have a go at hashtag and nothing happens.

It seems like us forum users need to form some sort of "union", to prevent such harrassment from our "employers".

Mate I'm on your side. This place is boring without banter!! But it seems some people don't approve. Should we just pump each others tyres up??

Just had a quick fire burst of heavy rain at andrews farm and the thunder has set in, hopefully it stays out this way and doesn't venture any closer to the city

I joined the forum this year thinking it would be good banter after reading hashtags early work but obviously i was wrong. Then thought what a waste of effort after getting shot down trying ti improve the social side of cricket. Too many people on here that think too much of their on opinion.

What's your thoughts on the lead up to the finals hashtag.

We had a guy score 200 in a 40 over match. oh and the 6 off the last ball victory was also good the week before. Big game in the LOE is all the talk in Mawson Lakes. 1st vs 2nd at Rostrevor. Also in C2 ML v PAOC in Mawson Lakes 2nd v 3rd. It's all happening.

Ok...

LOA:
been an interesting season so far, both Old Scotch and Marion are doing well after
their promotion last year from LOB. Been a trend the last two years with
Kensington taking it out last year after a promotion the year before. So it all
stand well for Marion to go again. I wouldn't discount Eddie's army the ICCSA.
Mixed with a lot of talent they will be a contender come March. It will be a fight
for 4th spot for Adelaide Uni and Kensington, both have claims. If Kensi can
scrape in the top 4 also expect the game winning spiritual leader N Bassett to
also scrape in the 5 game finals qualification.
My Tip: Hard one but I'll go for the ICC in an upset.

LOB:
All the talk has been a new Gaza in the division, questions are where did they
come from and will anyone be able to top them off? Flinders Park have improved
from last year, better consistantcy with the ball has seen them rightfully take
there place in 2nd. After a gangbuster season last year for a semi final choke the
mighty Mawson Lakes elders are there or there abouts. Will this year be our lucky
year who knows? With an average age of 20 Mercedes have youth on their side, but
will it hurt them come finals?
My Tip: The Mighty Mawson Lakes elders (I am not biased at all).

LOC:
Brahma Lodge on top, with a stellar season so far by Drewett with the ball. After
finishing third in the division last year ICC came into the finals batting well to
take out the prize, and I have no doubt they can do it again. MSCC a bit of a dark
horse, no one knows what they will be like come March. Fulham have a solid batting
line up, a number of players being game winner on their respective days.
My Tip: Brahma, always handy to have a Sibbick in your team.

LOD:
The only LO division with 12 teams in it. After playing a few seasons in 10 and 12
team LO comps the 12 team format is noticeably different. A number of teams still
haven't played each other yet and in some instances miss out due to wash outs.
Luckily this season has been very dry so game on... Flight of the Concords is the
theme of this division, unlike their A2 equivalent they are with out doubt the team
to beat. A young tight bowling line up vs the experience of the Para eels would be
an interesting grand final. A recent game between them came down to the wire.
Unley have been winning games with the bat which will help them come finals time
with Pennies an unknown.
My Tip: Concordia

LOE:
You could say there is not a lot between the top 3 teams in this div. Mainly
because they are with in 10 points of each other. Pooraka are the big improvers
this season. An obvious flow down effect from good club management as seen from
their top teams success. Rostrevor are the team to beat at the moment but that
could all change with them playing Mawson Lakes for top spot this week. I think
these 3 will be the teams contending for a grand finals position. Mawson Lakes
coming of last year's victory have to go in with some favoritism.
My Tip: Mozzie Lakes elders...

LOF:
Multicultural sported an Aussie cricketer for the first time I've played them last
week. They can now truly lay claim to being the Multicultural cricket club. Them
and the internationals will be fighting it out come late march IMO. On another
another note the Derby style competitiveness between the MSCC and ICCSA is becoming
legendary, one could compare it to a Celtic V Rangers match with official umpires
being requested for home and away games to keep the peace. Gaza strip on the other
hand has been pretty quiet in recent years, they are a bit of an unknown with
their redeveloped ground, they are going from strength to strength.
My Tip: MSCC for Raj and his men.

interesting that it looks like 3 of the 4 finalists from last season will miss out this time around, including my boys that made the GF last season but are fighting relegation this year. Good point about promoted teams performing well. Obviously not a huge gap between LOA and LOB cricket. Sadly the Rams may find that out soon enough :(

For the record, ignore anyone that bags you about talking lower levels cricket. There should be more LO chat on here. Just because we don't play 2 day cricket doesn't make our cricket any less worthy 8)

Especially when some people only play LO's due to things like being generated and only seeing their kids every other weekend making 2day cricket impossible

Touché! Well played sir.

That's the kind of effort we are looking for, harmless, quick witted and made me spit some of my caramel latte all over my iPad. Just the sort of thing I need this morning when working overtime.

I hope the powers that be don't take this little debate off because it might hurt someone's feelings.

What a great day for cricket, hope I can make the start somewhere.

we hit 7/509 today, Kyle Parks hitting 129 off about 50 balls including 11 sixes all clearing the fence at Kilburn, one went halfway down the road towards main north and a couple in a row clearing the big tree near the club, massive hitting, biggest score I have been involved in so happy with that, How did everyone else go

I tip Kilburn to win that by an innings and 400 runs......

also in B3, Pembroke bowled out in 77 overs for about 285. Tough chase for Brahma next week.

I remember a number of games against Glenunga in the LOA going back a few years. From memory it mainly involved your batters tearing us apart with specifically a player named Prior doing a lot of damage. I sincerely hope we are back up there again next season...

Our LOE game ended in a win to Rostrevor.... Well done.

Our C2 game was a bit more interesting with us batting first being 6/49, then making 300... with an 84 last wicket stand.

Also great win by our LOF, who are getting stronger and stronger and looking to upset some teams.

Matt Prior is good to have on our side, that's for sure! Not a lot of technique but he's got a great eye and when he's on he can win a game in 10 overs.

Your LOFs touched up ours yesterday. Sadly our boys have a few too many outspoken personalities and it's starting to effect team harmony. The skipper just took over mid-season and is doing his best but I think he's looking forward to the end of season. Your leftie that smashed 120-odd looked a reasonable bat. I didn't all of his innings but he was hitting them well when I saw him

The boys are up for the challenge , should be a good days cricket , hope we can close that gap a bit.

The B grade lost the toss and was put in the field. Didnt last long as they rolled through flinders batting line up for 42  in 18 overs , only had to use the openers to get the job done, 3 for 200 in reply with Mr pink eye socring his first ton for the club, great days play for the boys
