i'm guessing this it the Tweet you are referring to

"Daniel Motlop ‏@Motlopdaniel

a player left the club I coach because he didn't like the way I tried to make him better,is it me or the stubborn player who never listens?

I noticed the Standard have started their pre-season previews, commencing with Tailem.

Have not read the Standard Football articles for a while now and after reading the Tailem Bend preview I remember why. What a load of shit. When will the Standard invest in a competent sports reporter who is not just interested in amusing himself. Total lack of respect shown for both Gifford and Edwards. I know it sells papers but it does not make it right.

What are the strange circumstances???? Bruggerman no longer works in Meningie and has moved back to his home town to live and so is playing back at his home club and King, who is a good mate of Bruggers and has no other link to Meningie has decided to follow him so that they can keep playing footy together. Don't think this has anything to do with the coach PB

Surprised if that was the case, but would have limited opportunities in a strong Roos side this year.

What if I asked someone else?

What's he like as a player? I see he's on the clearance list to Border Districts in the KNT

I heard he's signed a contract with Meninge but has since been offered $1400 a game and now wants out. Any truth?

Very good player when fit, has had injury concerns that threatened his football career but seems to be getting over them. Should have a big impact on the comp

Yep fair summation there biffboy. Very handy footballer IMO. Stepped up another level in the ruck last year to prove hes as valuable in the ruck as he is up forward. Wherever he goes they are getting a top quality footballer.

Walker gone 100%

Must have changed jobs, because if this was the case he will need to find a new one.
Highly doubt he has gone with the other spuds to the Mallee.

If he gets sacked that's extremely petty. Good way to push more locals away. Clap clap mannum.
