Bagster showed great self control last night, not to post in the wee hours with a belly full of jacks.... Bagged last week for batting down the order, bagged this week for batting up the order, bagged for being bags, bagged for being old,bagged for being slow, bagged, bagged, bagged, they have alot to say for an ordinary team of average cricketers, it was nice to keep them very quiet (and chasing leather) in the most important part of the game. it was a fantastic come back by us , to get 191 from 35 overs, to get it 4 down and coming off all out 55 was very pleasing..... and it was a great game of cricket...

Are you sure you're not still drunk??....Winning on the reverse outright is a really awesome effort but no need for that.....especially given the amount of poor cricket that was on display by both sides. From what I hear, both sides weren't short of things to say so suck it up and move on.

with virginia once again proving to be a thorn in the side of salisbury west and recording a victory on the weekend, rosies narrow win over units and the goats convincing win over the huts gaining valuable second innings points the race to the top between the top 3 sides has really tightened up now!! near impossible to pick now? what a finals series this could prove to be!

LM dare to post any odds on minor premiers?and any odds for grand finalists, and eventual flag winners???

That would be great for our competition to have Pete back in Division 2, the bowling standards in the past few years have been very friendly. Hopefully Ray and Pete fire up and knock a few helmets around this season. Everyone with talent at my club want to play Div 9 :/

Pete isn't nearly what he used to be, infact I struggle to see him causing many if any headaches in Grade 2.

Maybe if he got a bit fitter again.. ?

Rosies still have the same core players but have lost a couple of handy batsmen & quality fielders that's why I think we will fall back with the pack!

I can assure you nobody at R&C are underestimating OTH, especially with McNair and Neil back in the mix it makes for a strong batting line up when you add Scott, Smith & Hanisch.

Similar line up to a few years ago when they finished 2nd in arguably a stronger grade 1 comp that year - oh how quickly people can forget..

Will be watching their results very closely indeed!

Yep CU and OTH clear cut favs now with SW a close 3rd!!!

Stand by that last comment, they are the two stand out teams at the moment despite CU sitting 4th.

interesting ladder at the moment. OTH have jagged top spot by.2 of a point. I dont know if thats all true tho but it looks like Virginia have now been given 0 points for their win against us and OTH have received their 6 points for the win. I dont know how its all come about but from what i have heard around the traps this morning is that Virginia in that game played an unregistered player? Can anyone shed any light on this?

Bit of an anti climax taking top spot like that. We would much rather earn it. We are certainly aiming to finish these minor round games off with a couple more wins to secure top spot.

Personally i think if it is true the rumour about Virginia, then yes they should be docked, but OTH shouldn't be granted the 6 points because at the end of the day they still didn't win the game..

i think we were only about 1.5pts behind you guys before the round just played. We may have jumped you guys after the round but not sure. I found it interesting. I dont know if its all set in stone but something is going on. Would be good to hear from some one at PDCA to find out exactly what went on there.

Huh??? The team sitting third is the favourites?? You guys beat us last time yeah?

I was talking with a couple of officials about this on Saturday night, if you actually go and look at the game you will see that OTH points donta add up, they have actaully been given the average points for the round because of it. (heck I hope I remembered that correctly)

They did have a young fella from the jets. Steven Peter was his name and believe it or not he is the reason they won lol. Edged his way to 40 odd, never seen an innings like it before, i dont remember him hitting one shot in front of square or one shot off the middle of the bat.
