This has to be longest investigation into a salary cap breach in SANFL history.

Won't be over, the SANFL might think we've operated outside of the guidelines I would suggest

LOL I think you know what it means, but just in case ...

Means (for example) a club could miss declaring an expense that should be included in the Cap, and even if that expense keeps you under the cap, it's still deemed a breach for not having abided by the rules and list it as a contribution under the cap.

Exactly, although it would seem a lot of supporters know about these things via West Lakes rather than the clubs themselves

Agree, there are obviously leaks out there, or people who get very lucky when they make up rumours. A guy on the CDFC forum posted this exact outcome when the rumours first surfaced.

So Norwood broke the rules, is that another word for cheating ;) I wonder if they will publicly apologise to triple m if found guilty!

Scrap the cap imho!!

It was an investment well made most Norwood people would suggest as they thumb their noses at the rest of us. Fair enough, too.

Shouldn't we wait and see what they have or haven't done before "congratulating" them?

Hopefully all these cap dramas are enough for the SANFL to consider scrapping it.

Also it seems to be only the Norwood supporters who are conceding they have broken the rules after this news!

So baiscally they did what Adelaide did, undeclared payments but still under...

So Baynesy is suspeneded for six months, and they can't go in the mini-draft next year....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

And if found guilty of any breaches after winning a flag and say fined, oh, I don't know, maybe a paltry $5k, maybe a president might be heard to chuckle "best 5 grand we've ever spent". ;)

No, because Norwood never tampered with the AFL draft. We did what Sydney did, won the Premiership!
