Baldo bowled alright considering his elbow hangs by a thread. Some of his yorkers/slow balls in the last couple of overs when we were chasing runs were right on the money.

U retard! If u had any idea u would have realised that puss bowling got the first 2 wickets of the day after the openers put on 100 stand. Without his efforts the score could easily have blown out to 300.

Both teams bowled well, had a decent partnership in the middle but we dropped a couple of crucial catches and I don't think they dropped any which makes a big difference. It was definitely disappointing to lose, especially considering the team we had but we just didn't bat well enough.

Good luck to the ASCA boys in the next one. Has it been confirmed if they are playing on the Adelaide oval? and I'm assuming from PG's new sig that they are playing PDCA?

Yep just not enough runs. Another 30-40 odd would have been handy. They jumped us having us 3-11 with Hodson, Smith and Borgas back in the shed. That was probably the match breaker right there. Mills batted particularly well and that pull shot he got hold of had everyone at the ground applauding. Gully again bowled superbly at Association level and Potts did well with bat and ball. But that was about it, we never hit our straps. Good Luck to suburban in the next match.

On a sad note, understand that it was Mark Weinert's last involvement at rep level as coach. I'm not sure of how long he's been mixed up with the carnival side, but probably fair to say he's given a fair bit of his time to the S.A.C.C.C.A. =D>
Well done old boy and I'm sure we'll still seeya at Para Vista either as a dour opening bat or gun 1st slip fielder
