Cash with all these 'supporters', I am thinking we need a number 1 ticket holder, maybe Nev might want to put his hand up since he talks about us more than we do.

Question (and call me pre-emptive)

I have plans on 17th march (whereby if my calculations are correct, would be the same day as the Gaelic Grand Finals). IF Flinders make the D2 grand final, what time roughly would the game start?

Grand finals fall on the 10th as a Gaelic Grand final day on St Patricks day would just not be right!

I'd say a Gaelic Football Grand Final on St Patricks Day would fit very nicely!

Really? In theory yes, but the logistics of keeping the Irish members of your team off the sauce until the afternoon!!!

Pretty sure that the Minors Coaching roles and managers position are sorted. Any sane and responsible adult wishing to be part of the SA Gaelic Minors and interested in coming to Sydney is more than welcome to fill a role as a chaperone. I believe we are going to send someone in the role of Goon Police as well this year ;)

I think the deleted posts was an over the top reaction. No aspersions were cast, just concern for an old friend regardless of the facts (which were not even remotely touched upon)

Results from the weekend?

The Taints comfortabley over an undermanned Flinders O'Neills.

I think Facebook alluded to Western Ireland over Na Fianna by a point?

Could Port repeat their early season heroics against Onkas?

WI did beat Na Fianna by a point. Wanted it more in the second half.
Onka's were ahead of Port by a goal at half time. Port were very much set up for the counter & the quick left footer up forward looked dangerous. A bit unlucky not to have a goal to even it up just before half time as a result of a charge call. Onka's did seem to have control of the game tho.
