Just beaten by a better side mate, we have a few injuries but thats no excuse...the brand of football that Goodwood played on the weekend was very very good...some say it was like watching Geelong vs Richmond

Yeah they are bloody good players. Clarkey a man mountin at CHB, Matty Newman and Coxy very good onballers. Think Newmans been injured though...not too sure. On paper Henley is amazing dunno whats happening though, obviously the type of footy they are trying to play isnt working.

their next 4 games are; broadview @ uni, Gepps X @ Gepps, Edwardstown @ uni & TTG @ TTG.
it would be great if they were winless after 9 rounds but I think they might have 2 wins out of the next 4

they may be lucky against Gepps or Broadview, pity they weren't celebrating their centenary year this season.

what's the problem with University - its not as though they dominate division 1 year in and year out?

Maybe the fact that they don't have a junior program so rely on poaching players from other clubs.

how may underage kids go to university?
not having a junior program is like saying high schools should also run primary school sides.

Or they poach players from their own university...

I'm guessing old scholars sides should be ridiculed for stealing players (who went to the school) from their local club as well?

Heard that injuries are hurting broadview too, up to 7 x 1st choice players out and not looking like returning anytime soon. Could we see a stronger showing maybe later in the year from these two teams.

If any one listens to the RPH footy show on Fri mornings they repeatedly say that uni have several key players overseas at the moment and should be back soon. Dont know weather to believe it or not could be just uni putting up a smoke screen to hide the fact that they are shite this year
