I am sure Reid Beeching, might be targeted by a club out your way and why not, as he is a gun footballer. One wonders which club it is.........

Absolute gun and was the best player in D2 last year, by a country mile. Won the B & F at Port District from Sampson and was the best big man going around in D2. Super player.

One of the best big men, that I have seen in amateur football actually and all the wraps coming on him from the Southern League, were justified and then some.

Brett Heintze, Dean Christie, Paul Sadler and Blake Wagener the Gaza co-captain from last year all at Walkervllle. 4 good pick ups plus 3 other fringe players, all from Gaza.

Some big losses for one club and huge gains for another.

Heinze at centre half forward and a run in the ruck at 6.6 will be a huge pick up. He and Braydn Fisher up forward will take a power of beating.

Christie and Wagener into the midfield will make a good midfield into a crack one. Two of the best midfielders in D1 in previous years and both are guns.

Christie a real gem.

Going to be tough to beat the Cats with big inclusions.

Geez the Cats are really topping up on players this year. Pitty the only flag they will win will be in the 2s again but thats all anyone from walkerville talks about.

Heintzey will need to find a new role at Walkerville, the oval is a bit small, no CHF required thanks ;) - he'll be kicking goals from CHB

Theres a lot of talk about Beeching going here there and everywhere. I dont think he will go without making sure he has all he wants by way of money ;) . Port Districts seem to be loosing those that were meant to give them the flag last year. Has the ship gone past the saving point? The Cats with all these inclusions in my mind will be too hard to beat. Or will it be like down at Largs last year where all these big name recruits didnt gel too well and the results were not in their favor? Time will tell i guess. Looked at a few western clubs this week on the track. Numbers seem a little low in a few places. Would want to get a few more numbers up soon. Division 2 is looking more and more like it's going to go up a level over last year every week that goes by.

Just been looking at matching up triple headers and Portland's A's and B's play Pt District in Round 1, their C's play us.

So we meet again in the C grade in Round 10 as per normal, but the A's and B's play Pt District in Round 9? Both are schedule for June 15th, but why is our C2 in Round 10, yet the Div 2 is Round 9? Am I missing something blatantly obvious here...? :?

My mail Beeching and Johncock still have not signed contracts with Port Districts and they still may end up in the BLG.
Johncock would need a clearance from Willaston but a club wearing similiar colours to Willaston throwing all last years crop money at them.
