All they seem to be doing is causing trouble. they are not even from the RMFL and dont even care about it

Hahaaa if we werent on here this thread wouldn't exist ..... it would just be hills, rockets and the voice talking to each other and they are all you !! Having said that you are the only person who could hold a decent conversation with yourself.....

You are the one who always goes too far !!

Do you think their would be any anamosity towards you if you hadnt of bagged the only true mates youve got and your old club?? No i dont think so and that is why you cop it mate.

So grow up and maybe everybody will be happy to see you in the best players and winning a
flag instead of bagging you !!

Also funny that you have killed the voice and suddenly rockets appears and talks and sounds like you !! You are forgetting that i grew up with you and i know everything you are going to do before you even do it !!

GHA GHA GHA THATS MA SON !!!

Not that hard mate, just type at the bottom instead of the top. You must be from the RMFL, there a different kind up there i'm told!
Who's your tip to win the flag in this almighty league then rockets?

Hills you need to read your own posts as you were on the GSFL thread bagging individuals, clubs and the league!
You dont like it being done to you though.

So Voice/Hills/Rockets (whichever one you are today) if you knew anything about country footy leagues let alone the history of the RMFL you would be a little more than aware that the pure standard of the RMFL has dropped considerably to now make it no longer the strong league it once was. They have not even won an association game since 2003 over the GSFL.
Clearly your knowledge is limited to your playing time in the SFL and with the South Adelaide under age teams.

Granted each league has some very good teams/players in it but going on averages of the entire league (as no-one is going to play off post September!) the RMFL are off the pace. SFL has a huge divide between top and bottom and will soon struggle to field teams at struggling clubs. What other leauges are you wanting to talk about rockets (surely not as in rocket scientist?)

Jervois to play Imps in GF.

Hi footymad this is rockets i am not the voice or hills and are sick of being tied up with that! And no it is not as in rocket scientist, just a nickname i got along the way! GSFL has beaten rmfl but they also make the selected players play! alot of the rmfl dont from what i herd, but also there are more teams to choose from i think and the closeness to adelaide is a bonus for players to go to the gsfl, i have played in the gsfl for many years and i gues my problem with it is the arcaic or old style, kick long down the line shit! Maybe better on the day but style of the game is not as good as rmfl! I also played in the southern league and found that it was just stoppage football! no free flowing movements or switched like rmfl. that is the difference i think, not saying one league is better than nother but different styles![/quote]

Not sure how often you get out to see footy in the RMFL but i went up there to watch the GF last year and i find it quite amusing that you say they use the switch in RMFL but not in SFL, i think your truly kidding yourself as this was mean't to be the two best teams in the league and i didn't see one switch of play, the only reason Jervois got up in the end was because of some individual brilliance from Trev Rigney.
Other than that it was a fair poor footy game on a perfect day for footy. Mind you that's only one game, i hope for the leagues sake that it's better throughout the year.

Obviously the styles of game will be different in different leages, mainly I think to do with oval size and general weather of winter. RMFL has some very large ovals when compared to other leages.

As for GSFL beating RMFL in the last three association games: RMFL field an Under 25 side with last year we had an allowance of 3 over 25's. We may have lost by a fair bit last year but it was mainly in the last quater when the game was over. Also the absolute strongest side is not available due to the age policy. (which I agree with - perhaps GSFL should follow suit for once)

Yeah spot on mate prety much what i was getting at, sfl grounds are tiny at times and and the weather can get to the gsfl and sfl! Great point about the age factor i forgot that and it does help having ex afl players in the team!

Apologies Rockets.

Back to footy -

What a cop out boys.
Reminder - the RMFL set there own policy regarding selection for association games. I played in the last win RMFL had in 2003 and we beat a seemingly strong open GSFL team deep in the last quarter.
Should it be the case that you are now getting thumped then that simply further backs my point that the RMFL is diminshing in talent particularly under 25.
Wouldnt it be far more beneficial to have an A'grade open age game with an under 25's (23's game) played before it? That would be compramise I'd say.

Allow me to correct you aswell - the GSFL does not 'make' the selected players play, it is encouraged however it's been a long time since they have fielded their strongest team. The GSFL is not quite that close to Adelaide and is frequently battling with the SFL for players - pound for pound (no pun intended Jervois) RMLF averagely pay more out to players (please read before responding - I said on the average)

Do you guys play in the country championships?

As for the distance i was generalsing for wilunga they always fill alot of players in the association, but ebfc is only 45 away! yes they should play an under 23 and open i reckon. When i was playing in the gsfl myself and two others from my club then four others from other clubs got put on notice for not training and there were threats to suspend players if they didnt play, needeless to say i didnt but did not get suspended but my club went ape! it may have been 2003 as well but cant confirm, i would not have made a difference anyway.

I think this debate will go on forever, my opinion still stay as the styles are different and maybe other leagues have better oerall talent, the number of side affect that and there location, but all in all i think if all the top sides got together, it would be great to see and anyone could win!
