I'm not arguing with you. I just don't think Chuck was responsible for it all.

SMAC, who knows, we certainly don't, but you have to question going into a game with 4 batsman, one being a 19 year old playing his first game and then opening with him when Luderman had performed OK in that role. Then playing 4 spinners of which only Botha could be called a good fielder. In hindsight they picked a poor squad batting wise with no depth once Polly left, which they obviously knew would happen prior to the start of the season. Very confusing, a lot of people I spoke with today were very confused over the composition of the side and whilst I only heard Warnie's remarks tonight, it mirrors what the majority were saying today. I thought the crowd deserved better than what they got and the finger is being pointed at the selection of the side.

Excellent post. This is why we left well before the end of the match. It's unforgivable to pick a squad which will lose when a final is the prize.

Chuck = the Andy Collins of BBL

Stack the side with bowlers and try and turn the game into a low scoring affair.

And Sayers and Mennie. Our batting is still letting us down, which isn't Chucks fault

Sayers and Mennie to some extent but if Hughes failed first dig we would and been rolled for under 150 and it wouldnt of mattered how well the bowlers went in the second dig.

true, but if Sayers and Mennie didn't take bags we could have been chasing 500 in the first innings, or have had a target of 350 in the second

Hind sight is a wonderful thing! For mine Richo and Dan should've played, but if that happens Minnie defiantly doesnt play and he took a bag so lets all just be happy we got the result we were after.

I cant remember who made the point a few pages back but I'm glad Lyon is going on aussie duties because he and Botha in the same side doesnt work. Lyon is that far out of form at the minute it aint funny.

Surely Richo would of taken Worrals spot and Christo should of played before a second spinner

Agreed Jimbo but you and I both know there is no way Botha or Lyon will get dropped before Dan or anyone for that matter!
