Hey IO,
Main reasons you would have went in for beer is to pump your chest out because you'd probably just skittled through the oppostion :D
Fair enough too.
Other reason would have been to check out any fillies.
Long live leaving home at 11am and not getting back till 10.

This has whinging old Board members written all over it.

Who cares? They should be glad people are playing. Most people pay to play. They can do whatever the f*** they want after the game.

Head up your arse much.

The old " we pay to play so we can do what we want". Forget about who much clubs spend to give everyone the opportunity to play a game we love every Saturday, not to mention the hours people spend volunteering around the club. The only way clubs survive is by money over the bar.

No wonder grade cricket clubs would like to get rid of Adelaide Uni

Oh wow why is that do you know?

Pretty impressive effort by you guys to restrict Woody South rather than bowling them out. Must have been tight the whole game.

It shows on my cricket that 3 results are through but only has our 2 teams in the next round, so not too sure whats going on there. Will be a tough game either way!

Yeah the boys did just enough to get across the line, they got off to a pretty good start , then we managed to take some quick wickets and bowl tightly, came down to about 20 runs to win off three overs, they just lost wickets at important times, then needed 12 off the last over , which was just too much for the last pair to get. Eckers bowled extremely well to only have 8 runs taken off his 4 overs , and collecting three wickets aswell.

Well what a jam packed week I have just encountered!! With the majority of people winding up their Christmas leave (hopefully everyone had a safe festive season), business has certainly increased compared to the first week of January. Everyone seems to be very upbeat, and here's hoping to a successful 2013.

Coupled with the increased workload last week, I have had some trouble with some technological items that I use on a regular basis. My laptop, iPad, smartphone and even my work PC have all had the same problem. Up until today, I have been having considerable difficulty logging into this website.

All of my other websites that I frequent are all working fine, stocks an shares, Fox News, CNN news, oasis active, espn cricinfo, ask Jeeves.

It became quite an expensive procedure, what with network doctor call outs, an apple representative. Added with the time off of work to be in on these guys call in times, they narrowed it down nicely for me, turning up anytime between dawn and dusk.

Another costly remedy that I tried was first to ring all if the above service centres, always 1300 numbers, and always "in a queue" lucky for me, I'm a valued customer and promised they would get to me ASAP.

So there I am checking that I have the device on!, that I have Internet connection, the old switch it off for 20 seconds,(since when does an inatimate object know, or care how long it has been off for) so 1 Mississippi 2 Mississippi 3 Mississippi 4 Mississippi 5 Mississippi 6 Mississippi 7 Mississippi 8 Mississippi 9 Mississippi 10 Mississippi 11 Mississippi 12 Mississippi 13 Mississippi 14 Mississippi 15 Mississippi 16 Mississippi 17 Mississippi 18 Mississippi 19 Mississippi etc etc etc to 20, alas! Nothing.

But thankfully as of this morning, just as quick as the problem came, it went away. I am thankfully able to log into my most favourite website of them all SAFooty.

Now that I can keep abreast of the recent/upcoming events of the amateur cricketing world, can people please fill me in on what's been happening? I understand there is a mouth watering encounter between associations in the near future. What are everyone's predictions.

It was a great game....went down to the last ball with woody rechs needing 2 to win. A great closing over from Pat Jolly and good catch at long on to seal the win. Pretty stoked, the boys. Woody, not so much.

Sounds like you got banned mate!! I'm surprised you got banned actually because i enjoy reading your rants and I didn't think you overstepped the mark. But trust me I have learnt (just like a lot of people in North Korea), you can't speak bad of your superiors. I don't want you to get rubbed out permanently, because i like your niggly type banter. All I can suggest is to aim your intellect at others (not moderators). Maybe OKC??

There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!
