Would have thought Cam Williams would hold that title......

George will be lucky to keep his State Contract next season if he is off contract, shadow of his former self.
Haberfield don't know what is up with him may be FS can enlighten us
Opie well not so flattering results in Futures league to warrant selection bb 4/52 with 10 wickets at 25 from 3 games

Worrall must be doing something right to be selected in the final 12 for SA every game played and picked up a BBL contract. Would have easily doubled his starting rookie salary in Match payments alone.

Couple of huge overs by Sayers
Picks up Rogers and Hussey to have the Vics 4/292
Need to restrict them to under 400.

I havent seen Peter George play district cricket this season but when he wasnt picked at start of year for shield cricket, maybe his confidence went downhill, some players in sport can handle the situation others not so well, when Michael Klinger was named 12th man a few years back in a one dayer at the start of a season after having a great season the previous year he took a few shield games before he started making runs.I can remember watching him bat at the time and he was really struggling, once the runs came his confidence grew and returned to his best.I hope Peter George does get an opportunity elsewhere next season.

Spot on. He has proven he is a very good first class cricketer and will do well with opportunity. He just isn't getting that with Berry and I doubt will get an opportunity at the Redbacks while Berry is in charge.

His one Shield match this season he got 2-56 in the first innings and then wasn't bowled in the 2nd innings at all, even though he was fit and able.

Great to see the Redbacks fight back in the last hour. 6-314 much better than what it looked like it would be!

Good fight back by the spuds but a tad to late, pretty fair to say the outright win is already out of the question unless the vics set us up with generous dec or we can put 550+ on the board

To make 550 Hughes will need to make 200.
We have gone in with 4 number 11 batters so effectively are 4/10 before a ball is bowled. A lot of pressure on the top 4 tomorrow. Hopefully they can all stand up and post a big score
With the side Chuck has picked we need to keep them to 400-420 max.
Really feel we are a batter short

Nathan Adcock says Hi, and he was the bloody captain.

Adcock bowled the odd offie too didn't he? Wonder how their stats compare? If you lined up all state captains stats from last 20 years would these 2 finish a dead heat for bottom of the list?
